Perfect fitment, even the cap.
19 X3 m40i. Smoke and train whistle after letting it idle for a while. Pulled the original diaphragm and there was a slit in it. Broke the stock cap when removing and got worried because I saw reviews saying this cap didn’t fit right. But it fit perfectly, nice and tight just like stock. Gonna buy a couple extra. Hongwin for the win!!PS: your car will smoke for another 20-30 min after install, just drive it and the rest of the oil will burn off in the exhaust and then no more smoke👍🏻

Excellent and easy repair for the common PCV valve failure.
Fantastic! Cheapest and easiest engine repair ever.Did you get the SQEEEEEE and smoke in your BMW? Sounded expensive, right? This is probably what you need.The original plastic cap cracked during removal (common) so it's good this includes one. Your OEM spring is probably reuseable, but this includes one.Small and cheap enough to keep a spare in the toolbag.

THE CAP DON'T FIT
Unfortunately the cap did not fit and the original was broken upon disassembly... thus leaving us in a pickle. If you can get your cap off without breaking it you can reuse it.I'd recommend if you are going to try this job have a backup plan to do the complete valve cover until someone makes a solid reviewed part that you can trust.

Works, but definitely is cheaper quality than OEM.

The same kit costs $230 from BMW.
This easily replaced the existing diaphragm. My 340xi suddenly started billowing white smoke. The existing diaphragm had a small slit in it. Sometimes you should go with more expensive original equipment parts but this isn’t a computer. It is a piece of rubber. I reused the original spring and plastic diaphragm support. I only used the cap and diaphragm from the kit. It works like new.
