Personally recommend 3M brand CA's
I recommend any of the Cyanoacrylates from 3M - - CA40 is a thin set type, that is, it's viscosity is similar to water, if you don't have experience with thin CA's, take care, because yes, it runs like water but any project where absorption into a joint is important is the ticket with thin set CA's - it's extremely strong, cures very quickly and works as well or better than any of the CA's that I've used over the years. I like the stock applicator of this size bottle and don't find the need to use capillary tubing for applying very often, obviously, that depends on the project. Although I'm not suggesting this idea for others, I always store my CA's in the freezer - they seem to last for years stored this way. And naturally, if you like to use a "kicker", by all means - personally, I've not noticed any problems regardless of the brand of kicker and CA40.

Works great when the bottle is not dried up
Purchased 2 bottles a few months ago. My fault for not looking at them closer when I opened the box but I went to use my second bottle last week and it was all dried up. Brand new bottle hardened. All my adhesives are stored at 68 degrees so it wasn't due to storage conditions. 3M does not post the expiration dates on their bottles so who knows. Too late for a refund. JUST BE CAREFUL WHEN ORDERING 3M ADHESIVES ONLINE.Amazon should requires sellers to provide 3M Certificate of Conformance. It will show the expiration date.
