- Willow Whips are perfect for lantern and sculputre making. Naturally pliable they can be soaked in water to increase flexibility. Then bend and fix into amazing craft structures.
- Willow withies are a 100% natural product so each batch will vary. The sticks are brown in colour and usually about in 5 foot in length. Each bundle wil include sticks in various sizes. The willow sticks start from a fairy robust with of about 1cm then taper to a thin end - hence the name willow whips
- Once beat into shape the withie sticks can be secured using maskign tape or wire. Then they can be covered in wet strength tissue paper to create lanterns or spectacular 3D sculptures. Willow craft at its best.
- These williow sticks are not suitbale for weaving as they are more structural. Not making large scuplutres they aslo work well as pea sticks for pots and other climbers - a great alternative to trelis.
- Each willow bundle weights in at approximatley 2kg. On average this will be about 100 stick but as this is a natural product this will vary.
