Solid investment for BJJ improvements
I got this to improve shoulder mobility, grip and upper back strength for BJJ.I have to say that I overshot the weight - really should have gone lighter. Nonetheless, this is a stellar piece of equipment.Well-balanced and heavy for its size – 15lbs feels heavier due to leverage.1. Great for grip strength, shoulder mobility, and rotational exercises2. The finish allows for a good grip3. It’s one solid piece – no rattling or weak spots.4. Good for conditioning circuits or rehab-style movements.Don’t do what I did: if you’re new to clubs, start lighter. This isn’t like lifting a 15lb dumbbell.

Great workout item, superior build.
Indian clubs are classic. I've been told they were used in the day to build swordfighting strength, so keep that in mind in case broadswords are your thing. I will echo what others say: These will feel a lot heavier in the hand than 10-pound dumbbells. Anything that extends the weight adds leverage to that weight. The best examples are "mace bells," which are awesome, but you can def start with a 7-pound mace bell for each hand. If one of these Indian clubs arrives damaged? That happens sometimes with workout gear. Amazon will let you return it, and will ship a replacement. It happened in my case.

5 stars
A perfect intro into steel clubs. Durable and cost effective. I have since moved on to variable weight clubs, but this is the perfect way to get started.

An excellent weighted club
It has an excellent texture for a comfortable grip throughout my routines. It's currently heavy enough to be effective in figuring out flow and general movements for this type of exercise. It fits my hands well, and it is extremely easy to use.
