perfect fix for brembo brakes!
I bought these to fix some damaged threads on the rear calipers on my 2013 subaru STI. The calipers are softer aluminum so I didn't need to use any power tools for this job. I simply followed the instructions, using my hands only and got both calipers fixed perfectly.Check your sizing if you're buying this for brembos, the rear are a different size than the fronts. This works for the rear calipers, you'll need a larger size for the fronts.

Steep cost for less than perfect.
These are quality tools. They should be for paying $100+ for what essentially is a custom tap set. But the set should be perfect for this price but it's not.I did the best I could to align the tap correctly and still got the insert slightly crooked, causing an oil leak. I then had to dremel the insert lip that was sticking out to stop the leak. Time Sert has made tap guides in the past and they should include them in all their kits.I used ratchet and sockets to drive the bits. For some reason, they've machined all the square ends slightly different sizes so I had to use 3 different sockets. Just machine them all to one size for convenience. Most people use these for oil drains, so it's very crucial that you grease the bits so you can keep the shavings from entering the pan. I did this (and flushed the pan with fresh oil) and I still find aluminum shavings inside on my last oil change. Time Sert instructions don't mention these precautions at all, and they should.Last gripe is the price. For a non-mechanic like me, spending 100 on a tool I need only once is a steep cost. Time Sert better pray China doesn't start making knockoffs of these, or they'll be losing most people that fall into this category.

Saved the day fixed stripped starter bolts.
Time Sert is the only thread repair kit I’ll use. Bought the 10 x 1.50 kit to fix stripped out starter bolts. Steel threads are better than aluminum threads. Easy to use and fast too with lasting results.

Easy to use, but a bit expensive.
These saved my calipers!! A bit expensive for what it is, though the kit is incredibly handy and very easy to use especially if you have some sort of background. I would consider it more of an "advanced" tool, depending on what you're using it for. I wish the price wasn't so high, but it saved me from buying new Brembo brake calipers so I'll take the win.
