*autism mom review* we love this set!
*AUTISM MOM REVIEW* This track set is incredible and began my son’s now much larger collection of Thomas trains and tracks. He has always loved the show and we got him this set for his 3rd birthday. He is autistic and obsessed with trains. He plays with this set for HOURS. If you’re worried about your child’s motor skills, don’t be. The bridge clicks perfectly into place no matter how crazily you move it from one side to the other so there’s no need for them to line up the tracks (I was worried about this when I ordered). The only time anything needs lined up is when you set the train onto the tracks obviously, but that only took him a couple times to practice. It is incredible for autistic kids as they can repeat the same pattern of tasks over and over. Press the stop sign, move the bridge, press the stop sign, watch the train go down and then back up. They can control every part of it and predict everything that’s going to happen. If you’re worried about the track stability, I wouldn’t worry too much about that either. So far our tracks have never even disconnected from each other, and I’ve moved it multiple times and my son is NOT gentle with it by any means. The Thomas train that comes with it is plastic and motorized and can go up the track on his own. The Percy train is just a push-along die-cast train, so he can’t go up but my son loves putting him at the top and sending him down because he zooms pretty fast since it’s metal and heavier. He actually went through a phase where he was a bit overstimulated by the motorized trains, during which time we collected a few of the die cast ones, and he still played with those just as much on the tracks, pushing them along. If your child also likes the other characters/other construction vehicles, there’s also cranes at the top, and it comes with cargo boxes, as well as little spots for them to sit at both the top and bottom of the tracks. So you can add them into the car at the bottom of the track and unload them at the top with the crane. There’s also chutes to drop the cargo back down to the bottom! The only downside to this track set for us is the fact that the bridge is fairly short. This means that a lot of the trains that you can collect cannot fit on the bridge with all of their cars. Usually it’s fine with just 1 train and 1 car on the back, however some of the trains come with 2 cars attached to the back and can’t make it across the bridge without losing a piece. So any trains that come with 3 pieces, we have to remove one before using it on this track set. That’s a bit upsetting for my son because he likes things to be exactly how they’re “supposed” to be, so he wants to leave the original cars on the trains.

Our grandsons ages 3 and 6 both love it!
This went together in 31 easy steps, so give yourself about an hour or so to build it. Instructions are all in drawings so if your brain works like that, it’s fine. It really doesn’t do a whole lot of things. The train goes around the track nicely, but it involves human engagement to Move cranky the crane around when the train gets to that point on the track. You can put cargo up and down in an elevator, and the whole thing is just really fun to look at. I never thought they’d like it this much. I’ve had it since July. We had so much for them at Christmas we didn’t bring it out and now is my grandson’s third birthday and it’s a hit. !!Quality, value and fun. Will be very durable. We’re not about to disassemble this !

Motorized Thomas Train Fun!
The media could not be loaded. My grandson loves everything Thomas and Percy. The motorized Thomas engine brings him great joy. He likes loading and unloading the cargo onto the cargo car with the cranes. Harold the helicopter sits on the helipad waiting to come to the rescue. Percy is not motorized and he is smaller than Thomas but he is much faster than Thomas if you put him at the top of the track and send him on his way. Percy finishes at the bottom of the track at the spinning turntable. There are multiple switches to start or stop the trains. My grandson likes that he is in control of the switches and they are easy to use. Other motorized trains can be used with this track as you will see in my video. The multilevel design takes up less space than other train sets. My grandson can stand and play and move around this track easily. It can be moved from room to room without taking it apart. It is a great quality product and sturdy. I feel it is reasonably priced considering how much fun it brings. Even the adults can play with the children with this train track set. My grandson and I have had many hours of laughter and enjoyment while playing with this set.Note: My adult son put this train track together and it appeared to be fairly easy but does take a little time. It’s certainly worth the effort. 😊

Keeps kids occupied for hours!
This was the best Christmas gift! At 5 years old, I wasn’t sure if my son was getting too big for a toy like this, but I’m glad I purchased it. Him and my 7 year old daughter have really enjoyed building and rearranging the tracks. This is extremely durable, connects well and is compatible with other Thomas the Train sets. The kids love the cranes and the rotating feature on the top. This is a great toy and I would highly recommend!

Easy for kids to use and good quality
Both my 3 year old daughter and 5 year old son adore this even a year after purchasing. A toy that will stay in the family for a long time. Good quality everything is still in tact a year+ later. Great price for the size and quality of the toy. Easy to add on with the turn table at the bottom.

Hours of fun for a toddler
Bought this for my 3 year old grandson. The quality is great but needs to be put together. Lots of pieces but the instructions were pretty easy. My grandson absolutely loves it and plays with it all the time. It is durable and designed well. Great value for the money
