I just loved it. Can’t wait to read next spin-off series.
The Last Olympian was the perfect last book of the series that take place in New York City with so much actions and destruction and Percy trying hard to save his city and home of Gods over the Empire State Building. It was about friendship, bravery and consequences of bad choices, true meaning of family, betrayal and treachery, learning from mistakes, and bringing change in the way of life and nature for the better future. It started with attack on Princess Andromeda, tragic death, Titan’s plan and Nico’s warning and urgency to act on the plan he proposed a year back that Percy was avoiding until now. Now that he faced Kronos and experienced his strength for the first time, he knew if he wished survive again and fight Luke, he had to act on Nico’s plan asap. Oh, and he finally got to know about full big prophecy that said he was going to die!God at war with Titan leaving the Olympus unprotected, sea God bust in protecting his own palace, Hades holding years long grudge against Zeus decided not to help his brethren, Nico desperately trying to get some answers about his mother and then helping Percy, Ares and Apollo bickering over petty issues. Phew, lot was going on in first few chapters only. How Percy was going to save the gods and their home, will he be doom of Olympus or protector, and how was he going to fight Kronos that didn’t include dying? It was tense and exciting to read this final Installment of the series. I was curious to read the final battle. There was humor here and there alright but things were getting serious, there was death looming over Percy and Gods were on the battle field in their best armor, New York City was under the sleep spell with destruction all around it. So, it needed the serious, tense, and on-the-age-of-the-seat tone and author did it fantastically. Like, ‘we are not going to laugh so much like we did in previous books until we’ve chopped up Kronos and sent him back to Tartarus‘.In this, Percy visited his father’s realm, finally, and I tell you it was wonderful minus all the battle raging down there; met Hestia-the Last Olympian and I was curious to read her importance as the title was given after her and after reading the book I could tell how appropriate it was; met some deadly Titans Morpheus- he can cause deadly dream and I’m sure one won’t need benzos around him, Prometheus- not-so-deadly but cunning for sure, Hyperion with burning light and a monstrous storm-giant who wreck such a chaos; . and slayed long list of monsters. There were many other important answers I finally got in this book like -Luke’s childhood and what made him bitter towards his parents, Nico’s mother and how he and his sister were sent to Lotus casino, Hades’ curse and how the prophecy was twisted in many ways, Rachel’s talent and her importance in immortal’s world, spy in the camp and how Luke twisted people’s mind to get his revenge, role of Luke and Ethan and many other rogue demigod’s in new upcoming change in Immortal’s world, and Annabeth’s hope and what Luke was for her, Percy’s role in the prophecy. There was twist and turn in each chapter, each chapter was dripping with friendship, courage and bravery, tricks and surprises. Don’t forget the titles of each chapters, they were so catchy that made me want to read what’s in the chapter. Percy not only gave so many thought-provoking lessons to readers but also made the Gods ponder over it.World-building, plot, characters, myth everything was impressive and well balanced. Percy, Annabeth, Grover and Clarisse were the star of the book. New development in Percy and Annabeth’s relationship was lovely and cute. It was also tragic to see so many deaths and destruction because of worst consequences of bad actions.Climax was wonderful. Loved the way Percy and Nico convinced their dads and oh my, that final battle was just brilliant. Each and every campers, immortals, and mortals fought amazingly. End was unique with many insights, change in immortals’ world- I loved that new blue print of camp half-blood in the end, and another big prophecy that was just as confusing and dangerous as previous one, maybe more!Overall, I just loved it. Can’t wait to read next spin-off series. It was riveting, entertaining, insightful, and impressive urban fantasy dripping with Greek myth and Humor that I recommend to fans of this genre.

Really interesting book to read
It is a good book to read through while travelling. By the end , the story becomes predictable , but one would still like to read through the end.Another useful point of the story is that nothing would seem amiss even if the previous books in the series have not been read.I perused the book while on a short trip to a friend, was immediately hooked, bought it while returning back and finished it by the time I reached back home, while being in constant tumult inside a bus.The book is riveting , no doubt. As a reader of classic, one will definitely miss the prophetic and eloquent prose of the Masters, but this book is meant for children and it hits the bullseye on many counts.Additionally, it inspired me to refresh my Greek Mythology, which was rewarding as well.

Knowing the actual story is the most important thing.
This book is jaw dropping and full of mysteries. I would read another percy jackson's book without any hesitation. It is really a mesmerizing gift for young, new, and fictional readers, creates a certain nostalgia. Also gives thrills and curiosity to read more and know more. Would highly recommend reading it. I would give this book a 10/10. 👍❤. Rick Riordan wrote such an amazing book, I'm really glad I am born in the era to read this masterpiece.

Great book
A half-blood of the eldest godsShall reach sixteen against all oddsAnd see the world in endless sleepThe hero's soul cursed blade shall reapA single choice shall end his daysOlympus to preserve or razeThe big day is here. The day Percy fights his grandfather and dies (according to the prophecy) by getting his soul reaped by a cursed blade- which most probably means Riptide (cuz it 'had bought sorrow to many people' (according to Chiron))Note to Self: I need to stop using brackets so often, cuz its SO FREAKING CONFUSING!!! I promise you, no more brackets.Moving on...Kronos has woken. Typhon is here (cue the dramatic drum music thingy- that ba-dum-bum- and the cries of terrified mortals). STOP MAKING ME USE BRACKETS, YA GRAECUS SCUM. (wink, wink)Guess I broke my promise then. Now, I pinky promise you, no more brackets. Plus I don't think you can break a pinky promise, right?Anyways...The gods are fighting Typhon in the Midwest. Olympus is 'virtually unguarded'. And Kronos, being who he is, an evil mind-twister ( I don't know what that means. Don't ask me. Hahaha.... Wait a minute....)I promise you- I swear. I bet you won't take me seriously after this. So, you know what, let's have a bracket party!!! Yaaaay!!That's dumb.Whatever.As I was saying, before the bracket party thing interrupted me, Kronos being the evil mind-twister he is, has planed to defeat the gods when they are busy fighting Typhon. That evil slim bucket of nose-drool. That doesn't make sense, does it? Ooooookay...And Percy has to become more stronger and invulnerable to fight Kronos and our dark friend, Nico( sorry, no offense to Nico) has just the idea. After this Percy takes like 40 campers excluding the Ares cabin to defend the Empire State Building from Kronos' forces.Let's see what happens in The Battle of Manhattan, shall we?Percy buys some new friends, They break a bridge, A Titan brings a present (fishy), Pigs fly (erm, excuse me), Chiron throws a party (excuse me, we're in the middle of a war!!), They get help from a thief (bad idea), Percy's parents go commando (okay,What???), They thrash the Eternal City(I don't think the gods will be happy about that) but they win fabulous prices and Percy gets dumped. Then we sort of say goodbye.I know, I'm just writing the chapter's names. I'm lazy, don't blame me.Reader: Then who do we blame? Ourselves?Me: I don't know. Just don't blame me cuz I'm Kaviya the Blameless.( Only a true PJO fan will understand that).Read the book. It's awesome. Great job again, Rick Riordan. Way to go! I don't have any rights to say except as a fan.Anyways. Read the book, people!-- Kaviya .K

Best Mytho Book ever known
Best Mythological book. I bought it as a whole set like buying a single book for every part(I don't know if you understood that🥲) The book quality is 💯. Worth buying for 1228 rupees (it's because I bought it as a whole set)and don't buy the whole set for 1391 . Buy it as a single book
