Might not work great for tall people.
Pretty cool. I'm just almost too tall and long legged to sit comfortably and use this pedal. Mounting to my cajon was easy and haven't noticed any problems. Handy drum key multi-tool comes with it and stores directly on the pedal.I'm about 6'1" tall and I would prefer to be able to put my foot out a little bit further or have the freedom to position my foot more comfortably. I did enjoy using it at my last rehearsal and being able to play a shaker by freeing up my hands. The beater that comes with it works great!

Petal for cajon
Well its really got the right distance for foot and it is adjustable. Everything is adjustable. There are two things that don't like is the thin padding for the base that attaches the cajon. Needs more so to not damage the cajon. Back of cajon clamp could have a long angle across the whole bottom edge with padding to keep from one place being damaged. Also the petal foam is flat not curved. It makes a flat ringy sound not a pillow in the kick base sound. All could be fixed with rubber tape and gauze rapped in sports tape for petal beater. Besides that it is made well. Strong. I like it very much. Would buy it again. Daniel

Meinl Artisan will need taller spacers for the pedal mount.
Doesn’t work out of the box with Meinl Artisan Cajon. High centers on pedal mount and rocks side to side. Had to get taller spacers for the Artisan Cajon for it to be stable. The foot armature seems flimsy too, but works for now…

Horrible design.
The stock assembly has it hitting the cajon when you lift up the pedal. I tried to find a way to make it strike when you press the pedal and could sorta make it work. There is a bar u could flip and probably make it work better. But the leverage points on this will clearly break quickly.Ultimately just a really bad design and will be returning.

perfect cajon pedal
the action on this pedal works "forwards" i.e. you don't have to develop some new heel technique, trap set drummers can adjust right away. Only downside is that it takes over a larger area than some other cajon pedals. But that is the price you pay for having your foot where you want it to be, IMO. The soft beater won't damage your cajon.

Not happy
I was not happy with it and sent it back.

Floppy
This unit has several major design flaws. (Does not sit on the ground when clamped; clamp is essentially one point of contact, so the pedal runs away, rotating around it, plus other things...)It seems to be, however, the only toe-kick pedal out there at its price point. (For that, I rated it a 4 instead of a 3.) My husband secured it to a platform to hook on to the feet of the drum. The photos show his prototype -- perfect!
