10/10 worlds best vacuum
Light in weight, powerful 3 settings (carpet, tiled floor, skin the cat).No chord to try and kill you. Many functions and adaptations. Works on the stairs......yipeeeeeee! Easy to empty (I have a hairy pussy, it needs emptying after each room). A total joy to vacuum up. I have a Dyson animal, in comparison my Dyson is utter crap!I have EDS and fibromyalgia my partner has one leg. This machine is a life saver in many ways...it is a joy to use. The cat isn't scared of it as it is fairly quiet. Superb value for money.......easy and light to carry....I can't praise it enough...

Good suction power - very happy
I bought this to replace a Beko 165W - that one worked well at first but it loses power quickly, as the filter clogs. The Vax on the other hand has amazing power, it just keeps on and on. It's easy to use and recharge. One minor quibble is that it's not very easy to disconnect the motor unit from the main tube. But it's not a deal breaker.

Good solid vac
The Vax is a good solid product. The performance is impressive with the motorised brush and boost settings allowing effective cleaning of wool carpets. Battery life seems good. One slight downside - the connection of the attachments and the dust collector could be more positive. There is only a small click to indicate a firm connection.

Light and powerful
I had a cheaper version of this a few years ago and it wasn't much good, but we read the reviews and opted for this one because our Henry hoover is quite heavy and a pain to drag around the house. This upright is every bit as good as a wired vacuum. The suction is powerful (make sure you have it on the powerful setting) and the rotating brushes work well. The brushes on both the main head and the small "pet head" are very well designed, meaning you can take the entire brush out to clean it and detanlge any hair that accumilates. The battery is 4Ah which is sufficient; though it doesn't last quite as long as the claim when you are using it on carpets. It is still ok though, and the battery comes out of the main unit easily so is easy to put on charge. The vaccum is very light and easy to use. Plus the attatchments are easy to clip on and off.The collector bin is quite small but this is also easy to take off and empty which you'll need to do every time you hoover the whole house. We haven't experienced any blockages yet, and I have accidentally sucked up quite a few large bits of wood, scrap carpet etc when fitting some flooring. For the price I am pleased - it's true what they say, you get what you pay for. I had a 70 quid electrolux before this and it was rubbish, but this seems like money well spent. You can also mount it on a wall with the bracket provided, which is a good space saver.

Toy not a vacuum
Looks like a toy, sounds like a toy and works like a toy. Coming from standard cylinder vacuum I was expecting worse performance but it was supposed to be balanced out by convince. That didn't happen. Starring off with the pulling power that fails if you need to clean up anything bigger than a speckle of dust. I guess it's a bonus it fails to suck in small Lego pieces which our previous vacuum did. It is terribly difficult inconvenient, battery barely lasts one hoover. The dust container is so small I need to clean it multiple times during one hoover as any bigger specle tends to make the already poor suction worse. The motor in the handle makes it heavy and difficult to operate. The buttons on the handle are constantly accidentally pushed. The rotating brush also needs cleaning after every hoover up. The entire thing looks fragile and toy like. If you have a classical cylinder vacuum and are considering switching to modern wireless one don't do it. We still ended up using our 10 year old vacuum over this. This is relegated to car jobs only.

Works well but short life
Good suction, cleans well and deals effectively with pet hair which was an essential requirement in a 2 dog household. Works well on carpet and hard floors but use the correct setting. The extra power button is very useful on carpet but does drain the battery. However I can clean the whole house on one battery charge.I do find it heavy but manageable. My husband likes the weight of it and has no issues.Overall a good model which does the job well.UPDATE: The large brush head stopped working after 5 months of what I would describe as normal usage. My husband opened the viewing panel and found a wire had snapped. I contacted Vax providing the warranty, receipt and photo of the fault. I was advised that this was likely caused by accidental damage or wear and tear which isn't covered by the warranty. Five months seems an unrealistic life expectancy for key parts. Disappointing.
