Q: I bought this handbrake to work with assetto corsa. But it doesnt work. Is it me or is this thing just a piece of junk?

Mine works in Assetto Corsa. I usedd Content Manager to adjust dead zones. Had none, it came calibrated. This device is essentially an Arduino Leonardo, so you could literally fire up an Arduino editor and change the code as you see it fit for your purpose. I didn't disassemble, but you can see that this is just a hall effect sensor hooked up to a mini Leonardo board. Pulling the lever moves a magnet closed to the sensor. Unless you have a different version, this should work with any program that allows you to select input for a specific purpose. It is a single axis slider, but I am 99% sure there are exposed inputs if you wanted to add something to it.

Q: Will this work with a keyboard?

Not sure what you mean to work with a keyboard I have no conflict with my other USB devices

Q: I bought this recently an my pc won’t recognize it, it works with forza but can’t get it to work on fiveM anyone have any ideas?

You may have to find some software that will allow it to be recognized and programmed as another controller instead of being used as a separate input. I have had the same issue but was able to find work arounds with software. Hope this helps.

It feels great, it works great, and looks great.

This handbrake feels great to use, is plug'n'play, and works great. The software axis matches the handbrake travel perfectly. It appears to be well made and easy to repair (if needed). Mine only came with 3 out of the 4 sets of mounting hardware seen in the pictures though.

Horrible desk clamp

The desk clamp is horrible. I’ve clamped many things on my desk and this one just does not work.

Bang for the buck !

Easy to set up, great build quality for the price. I use it with a logitech g923 without any problems. I played dirt 2.0 with it and got reconized into the game as an analog, took me 1 minute to set it up and i was ready to race.

I now drift in peace

Installation needs a little bit of work if you don't have anything to fix it on. But apart from that it works well for games like Dirt rally, LFS, assetto corsa, etc. I can now die in pieces.

Very nice product

Very good quality build, has good pull resistance and the USB cord is nice and long to reach the computer. My only one small complaint would be for the board to be covered. The board is just too easy to damage and one wayward object and it could ruin your brake. That said.Wonderful product and works as advertised on my Windows 10 based gaming rig..
