The hose that came with our Grohe Pressure Balanced Shower System had turned black. I phoned Grohe and they told me to just wipe it off. After further examination I realized the hose that came with the system was all plastic, thus could not be cleaned.This shower hose is all metal, well made, and easy to install. It's a few inches shorter than the original hose so measure carefully if you need the exact length, however it's a huge upgrade from an appearance standpoint and looks great in the shower.Will need to test it for durability, but so far so good.

Identical to original part. Good quality and easy to install. Note that this is designed to fit the Grohe shower hand set and valve outlet. Other replacement hoses (the kind you buy a Lowes or Home Depot) don't have the correct connector that matches the thread on the valve outlet. So be careful. If your have a Grohe valve and hand set , this is the hose for you.

Product arrived in a timely manner and works as advertises. Hose is more flexible, easier to use trhsn the original.

The shower hose on my Grohe Aquatower sprung a leak after 15 years of use. This hose is a perfect replacement. It’s a few inches shorter than the original, which is a plus, has knurled connections, is strong and weighty, and complements the appearance of the shower panel.

I ordered this to replace on original hose that started to come apart after more than 15 years of daily use. It was a perfect replacement.

Works great Easy to attach

I have a Grohe shower head with a hose that you can unhook to use as a handheld. It worked perfectly except that the hose on the original model sprung a leak. The hose was made out of metal, but the external wrap was plastic and it sprung a leak after about 6 months of light use. I was disappointed to have a problem because this unit had been very expensive to begin with.I went on Amazon to see if I could get a replacement hose or to decide if I should start over with an entirely new shower head and cut my losses. After reading the reviews, I found that Grohe had improved the hose so it is now metal without the plastic overwrap that did not last. I decided to take a chance and buy the replacement hose and give it a try. It has been 6 months since I replaced the hose and the new one works perfectly! I am so glad that I decided to replace the hose and not get an entirely new fixture. Grohe definitely took action to correct the design defect and now the new hose is built to last! I highly recommend this part to anyone who has the "old model" hose with the plastic wrap and just wants to replace it with something that works better.The Grohe shower head has been excellent for us and I'm glad I bought it. The shower head seems to stay clear even though we have lots of minerals in our water that plugged up holes on a previous shower head. And I think the new hose is built to last! I highly recommend and am very happy with my purchase.
