Easy to fill, use, and clean. A must for *flood fill* cookie decorating.
These are GREAT for flood icing. Easy to fill, use, and clean. A definite must-have for your cookie making.Update: A lot of people seem to have problems with leaks and the tops popping off. First of all, my bottles are branded Wilton and came with the paper retail tag on the top. I have seen bottles at the store that look almost exactly the same - but aren't Wilton. I'm not suggesting a 3rd-party seller is selling counterfeit or off-brand bottles here, but I would check to make sure you're getting real Wilton bottles.I only use these to flood fill icing and haven't had a failure yet, but I always squeeze from the center and as my icing is for flood filling, it doesn't take great force to get what I need. The bottles are made from very soft plastic, so if you squeeze close to the top, it can pull at the top of the bottle - that could easily cause the top to come off. I wouldn't use them for warm products or hard decorators icing, though.I haven't had any leaks at the threads, but during a project, I do often check the top to make sure it's tightly secured. I have had to re-tighten them a time or two - perhaps I'm unknowingly unscrewing it a bit when I wipe the tips? Not sure. On my set, the red tips snap on securely so I haven't had problems with leaks there. I have intentionally laid a bottle on its side for an hour, and it didn't leak for me.Although my experience is limited to flood filling with icing, I do know I would not even consider using these with warm/hot stuff. The plastic is already soft and pliable, so I'm not surprised they melt. If I was selling these, I would market them for cool/cold use.As for staining, I used red-red gel coloring for Christmas and Valentine's cookies, and it didn't stain the bottles. Perhaps different brands of coloring adhere to the plastic, but it hasn't happened with the gel I use. I do use a bottle brush to clean them, and have a bottle brush specifically set aside for these bottles only so I don't get anything oily in them. See photo - bottle used for red-red flood filling. All I did was wash the top with warm water and it came perfectly clean. (Note the Wilton brand on the left/center of bottle.)So...Wilton, if you're listening, my non-engineering mind says if you made the top and threading part of the bottle more study (thicker plastic perhaps?), test and recommend a maximum temperature for candy use, many of the problems described here could be resolved.

Works
They do the job. Bought for dog shampoo. The shampoo comes in a large bottle that is awkward to use when bathing the dogs. We transfer shampoo to this bottle and it makes bath time much easier. Should last a while as we don’t use daily.

Right product
Having the right tools makes all the difference and these squeeze bottles are the right size for my project and for my hands. The plastic seemed a little thin but the bottle didn't warp when I used it to squeeze out a semi-hot liquid.

Same quality but for a better price than the big brands
Awesome deal. Don’t waste your money on “name brand” bottles. I use these for speed feeding my crested geckos and it makes life so much easier and makes feeding a breeze. Even after having crested gecko diet in these for 5 days in the fridge, I just run hot water through them and then shake them up and they clean out really easily. Durability and functionality is basically the same as the name brand and the cap provides a solid “lock” so I would say that the design is similar too.

These work perfectly for flooding royal icing cookies!
When I started decorating royal icing cookies I used icing bags for all my icing. Then I realized that bottles are great for flooding. I bought some inexpensive ones at the store and these. I LOVE using them for my flooding, here's why:-Size: 6 ounces is a good size for flooding icing. I usually don't have to refill it if I'm doing a few colors. I did teddy bears today and used a lot of brown and had to refill. I ordered a 12 ounce one for those times I'm using a lot of one color.-Tip: The tip is roughly the equivalent of a Wilton 2 or 3. It floods pretty quickly!-Mouth: I ordered two other sets on Amazon, but have a small top and it's very hard to fill. I know some people put the icing in a ziplock bag, cut the corner off and fill that way. I think it's too many steps to an already long process. I can fill these Wilton bottles just by pouring the thinned icing in from a little higher up so the stream is thin (not sure if that makes sense).-Price: At a few bucks per couple, these are a great price. If you loose anything it's not too expensive to replace.Considerations - The red tip can be lost VERY easily. I've almost thrown it away thinking it was frosting crumbs. I am so paranoid about loosing it because I like to keep my bottles flipped upside down when I'm decorating and I put the cap on to keep the bottle from clogging or any icing from coming out. They also don't have any way to interchange tips. I got another set on Amazon that works with couplers, but I haven't used it because of the small mouths on them!

perfect for my needs
I bought these because I needed a smaller bottle to hold my green Cholula hot sauce that i bought in the gallon size. The bigger size was quite a bit less expensive than the individual bottles, but hauling that big heavy bottle out every time i wanted a bit of sauce was too much. These bottles are perfect for squeezing just the right amount of sauce I need and they're much easier to handle. The opening is large enough to make transferring the sauce from the gallon jug easy peasy.
