Miracle-Gro for Christmas Trees

I don't know if it was just that my Balsam was exceptionally healthy, or that there was some Christmas magic involved, or God decided to cast down a wintry miracle, or if this product with regular watering did the trick. But it is now a year later and my tree has not fully died. We still have it up.I purchased my tree in mid-December of 2023. It was not to be the main tree for Christmas, but rather a tree to celebrate the solstice (I celebrate Christmas too, but use an artificial tree for that). I watered the tree with hot water as needed (every day or every other day) and followed the instructions for this plant food.Before I knew it, it was February and my tree still looked fabulous.This stuff is wonderful (efficient AND fairly priced) at adding a boost to your tree. Use with warm or hot water for better absorption and whenever you water the tree, add a capful of this stuff. I plan on using this for all future trees. Also, you can likely get by with a one-pack, but your mileage may vary. Very pleased with this product.

We have been using this for years now. Our tree has been sucking up a gallon of water since Thanksgiving when we got it. Now it's still 1/2 gallon a day. It looks like the day we got it.

AMAZING! AMAZING!I purchased a live tree on December 8 with some trepidation. Here in So Cal we were in the midst of a record-breaking heat wave and single-digit humidity. Several out-of-control wildfires raged north of where I live. I bought my tree off the lot at Home Depot where it had received no special treatment, i.e. not under cover, not in water. I had never purchased a Christmas tree that early in the month, but since I would be hosting guests the following week, I really wanted to have my tree up and decorated. However, I knew I would also be hosting my extended family on Christmas Eve, too! Would the tree last until then I wondered? To my dismay, Home Depot said they had been out of their "tree saver" for at least 2 weeks.So of course, when I got home I went directly to Amazon and fortunately found this amazing product - MiracleGro for Christmas Trees!The first two days (before MG) the tree "drank" virtually no water. I feared I would be replacing a dead-looking tree before Christmas Eve. So when the Miracle Gro for Christmas Trees arrived, I was only slightly hopeful. Since the tree hadn't used ANY water the prior night, even with a fresh cut, I confess I felt more skepticism than optimism. However, from the first day of using MG, the tree began to suck up water like I've never seen in my 50 years of adulthood. I had to refill the container both morning and evening to keep up with its thirst.The MiracleGro description said that it prevents needle drop. Well I'm here to tell you it DOES! In spite of continued spells of record-breaking hot, dry weather, then having the heater turned on a few cold nights, and the sun beaming in the window daily..this morning on December 28, the tree is as fresh as ever. It's truly unbelievable to me. I'm going to feel sad when I take this still-lively tree to the curb on New Year's Day which is my usual custom. (I took the photo this morning...not a brown needle to be seen.)

Seems to work. We've used this for two years now and we hardly get any needles falling from the tree.

I cannot praise this product enough. I have told all my friends about it. I needed to keep my tree up for a full month and thought I would try some kind of tree preserver for the first time. Usually my trees are drying out after 2 weeks and dropping needles like crazy. This product kept my tree green and fresh and the needles soft and kept them from dropping. Also my tree put out the fresh tree smell for 3 weeks, where usually it stops after 3 days. I could have kept my tree up another 2-3 weeks if I had wanted to. This was the best tree I ever had, thanks to this product.

This product really helps your Christmas tree to last and not shed needles.

The product works great, but the packaging desperately needs a redesign. There's no way I've found to dispense the liquid without it dripping on the packaging or the floor, and once it dries it becomes really sticky. I've taken to wiping down the bottle with a wet cloth after every use, and I still find it stuck to the counter the next day.
