Good complement to a pan-seared steak
Made a great pan sauce for steak & potatoes. Cook down 2 roasted or minced garlic cloves in a tbsp of butter, in the same pan the steak was seared. Add demi glace + 1/4 cup water, scraping pan to pull any bits from the steak up into the sauce. Cook for a few minutes until thickened, then turn off heat and stir in another tbsp butter. Serve over steak and/or potatoes.

Different ingredients, not 12 packets or 1lb
I ordered something that said it was "1 lb" or 12 packets and received 2 packets at 2.75 oz. On top of that, the packaging shown in this listing has wine as the first ingredient but the package I received has vegetable stock as the first ingredient. The listing needs to be modified to reflect reality.

This makes my steaks or pork chops taste expensive restaurant quality. When I make it for friends they demand to know what I'm using.
