The listed ingredients are comino and other spices, salt, and garlic. I didn't know what comino was, so I looked it up, and it turns out it is the Spanish word for cumin. Under nutrition facts, the serving size is 1/4 tsp and the total fat, carbohydrate, and protein are all 0 g. Sodium is 130 mg. Nothing else is listed. So: no msg, wheat, corn, or sugar in any form as far as I can tell.

Q: Is the taste comparable to McCormick taco seasoning ?

Hi ! Although I can't answer authoritatively as I have ditched McComick's etc a number of years ago. Came time to set off and make my own. I did find Bolner's to be a good substitute for McCormick's only because I had developed digestive issues with popular off the shelf taco seasoning offerings. To borrow from a commercial, "I use this S*** in everything ! ". I must add if you love the flavors of Mexico and Spanish food, along with Bolner's taco seasoning, the addition of powdered adobo spice, ancho, arbol and guajillo peppers to your pantry are IMHO a must have. Ancho, arbol and guajillo I buy by the pound and used in making enchilada sauce but I have found many more uses by experimentation with chicken, beef, alligator, soups etc. Be careful of arbol it can wreck a cooking session so I only use a teaspoon and one tablespoon of the rest in making a 6 or 8 quart stew or soup. There is more but I'll leave it to you to experiment. Hope this helps !
