Works very well to get the pearl nail look when used on a creamy white gel polish.

I’ve been going to the nail salon for about a decade now getting gel manicures, so I definitely pay attention to how they prep the nails. I’ve even asked questions and told a nail tech one time I was doing gel at home to save money and it kept coming off. She said that I was making the coats too thick and that doing really thin layers is the key. So I decided to give it a try again to start saving more money every month. I was also tired of going to the salon and paying $50 for it to chip sometimes in a week.Onto the review of the actual product…I read a lot of the reviews before buying it and actually ended up buying a whole new color because I wanted my nails to look like “hailey bieber nails” as much as possible.I bought the “AILLSA White Gel Polish - Beige White Jelly Gel Nail Polish Translucent” and it turned out beautifully.As for people saying the product is messy, I can see how that’s a problem when you’re not prepared. But after reading the reviews, I held the bottle very tightly and then used tweezers to lift the top off! Seamless & no mess!As for the application, I followed the directions and other research I had looked up.These are my exact steps1. Prepped nails (filed, washed with water & rubbed with alcohol)2. 1 Base coat3. Cure4. 1 Color coat5. Cure6. Add chrome (a little goes a long way)7. 1 Top coat8. CureAll done!!

I have a lot of other shades of chrome powders, but I didn’t have that ‘just white’ shade. I looked at others and some said too glittery or too this and not enough that so I decided on this one. It’s just what I wanted. (Use tweezers to remove the seal.) Yes, I tried the ‘glazed donut nails’, but you can also do chrome gradient, dab it on designs, make a french tip pop and lots of other looks. (If you have pale skin like me, to pale medium, I recommend Fzanest FO5 for Glazed D. It’s a perfect milky nude. Also Mocha Mousse by Beetles is a MUST have nude for all skin shades, Trust me!) A lot of the reviews also say you can change the look with the amount you apply, a slight hint of glittery to a full white glaze which I’m also eager to try. 2 jars at 2.50 a piece is a great deal. My hobby is gel nail art and collecting colors, and I’m glad I added this particular powder to my collection. You should get it girl!

Should note, only giving it 4 stars because the packaging is hard to open (have to open it very slowly because it’s so small, it seems to fumble out of my fingers easily and I worry it’ll spill). That being said, a little goes a long way so the quality it worth the price! Looks so good over any color - I’ve done it over OPI bubble bath, nude, and a cherry red. Gives a great iridescent/ chrome like finish that sparkles on the light.REMINDER: If using with gel, do your bottom coat, cure, color coat, cure, second color coat, cure, DONT WIPE WITH ALCOHOL, apply chrome powder, top coat, cure. I had been applying it after wiping it down with alcohol and so it wasn’t sticky and it wasn’t applying evenly - almost left a bad review until I tried it this way ^ and it worked awesome!! Will buy again!

These colors are gorgeous and fun to wear. Product was decent for what I spent on it. Recommended product for beginners who are starting off doing nails.

The lids are supposed to clasp shut, so when you close each compartment, dust goes flying every where. Even when the lids are closed, there is dust coming out when the container moves. Not worth it. I bought another set of colors each in its own case and the lid swivels shut like a jar so no mess!

The media could not be loaded. When I first applied it I kinda got scared since it looked like a basic pearlescent powder but once you put on the top coat or any gloss, the "aura" look definitely shows up. The colors are very pretty and are exactly as shown in the photos.

Now, I realize that me only opening these now is totally my fault and I really should have done so back when I received them in December so i know receiving any sort of refund is out of the question...so this is a buyer beware review.When i got them i only looked at them from the side of the container. The jar appeard full so I didnt second guess it. I also didn't have a lot of time to get back into making my own eyeshadow, nail stuff, etc at the time i got them so i placed them in my box with my other mica powders.Today I decided that I was going to mess around with eyeshadow colors and saw the jars. I opened one only to find that there was hardly anything in there. I thought "Maybe it's just that one?" and continued opening them...but one after another had the same, if not less, than the one before it. There's supposedly one gram in each container, which is appx 1/4 tsp, but there's no way that any of them have that much...I'm willing to bet the container along with the mica weighs one gram.Pretty irritated and disappointed. I've purchased from other companies, for the same price, and have received SUBSTANTIALLY more for the same price.Don't buyTotal rip off.
