The antioxidant I never knew I needed. I cant say enough good things about this ALA. I just know I will not go without it ever again. It helped me get my taste back after an illness. I literally couldnt taste or smell for a week, lost almost 10 lbs, and didnt want to eat. I literally mean, NO smell - my dog had an accident next to my bed and i couldn’t smell it (so gross). I took this out of the capsule one night and couldnt taste it. The next day i did the same thing and it burned all the way down, never have been so thankful to experience that unpleasant thing! I think it was literally restoring my senses, it never burned again after that (i take it out of the capsule since i cant do pills/capsules). It worked within a couple of days for said reason. Really very thankful to have found this product, so thank you LE for producing it. Will definitely purchase again!

I use this to keep blood sugar in check and it's been wonderful. This brand is one of the only I can find with the higher dose per capsule. I've veered off to other brands, as well as regular Alpha Lipoic at times, but haven't gotten the same results- I can tell by whether or not I break out after having sugar. It's also a good anti-inflammatory.I initially began use due to claims about it reducing scar tissue. At this time (updated 2017), I've been using it almost daily for about eight years and haven't seen any change in scarring.However, I would absolutely recommend trying an R-lipoic product to those with adult acne (other medical conditions and health allowing). Mine was due to dietary sensitivities/allergies, sugar being one (other common ones are hormonal triggers like soy, peanuts, and milk containing rbst). After going sugar-free for almost two years with noted improvement, I added this and can now have sugar without skin issues. In addition to having eliminated my other dietary triggers, this has been the product, after years of dermatologists and prescriptions, that transformed my skin. Even if that's not what one's taking it for, I suppose it speaks for its effectiveness for blood sugar regulation. I notice an improvement in other facial inflammation, as well, when I take these.
