If I'm paddling in crystal clear spring fed rivers at night will this actually make the rocks and grasses visible or does it only make me look cool?

How many lumens are the lights?

Hello. The lumen output varies on which color you choose. The lumen range on the Spectrum P2 system is 1200 - 2000. The lights produce more of a flood output vs. the spot or focused beam from a flashlight. Hopefully this helps answer your question.
