Ozeri Pronto Digital Multifunction Kitchen and Food Scale, All Silver, Compact

I've had this scale for some years. It's accurate (I've tested it against known weights) and I like the fact that it gives you multiple options for weight units (e.g. ounces, pounds, grams etc.). I also find it helpful that it has a "tare" option - i.e. it can weight the contents of a container and ignoring the weight of the container. The only reason I bought this new one was because I stupidly put my old one on a hot stove burner and ruined it.

I’m very happy with this scale. I find it to be accurate and repeatable down to .01 ounces. No issues with battery life (use it twice a day to measure out 2 to 6 oz of dog food). It zeroes at power on and also has a tare function (both work perfectly to subtract the weight of the dish). It would be nice if the power and tare buttons were separate, but just nit-picking.

we're still using it daily after 9 years. we also use it to weigh the kitties on this and it matches the vet's measurement.

Original batteries lasted over 9 years! Really happy that it uses 2xAAA rather than some less common type.Foot pads fall off a bit easily.The plastic "membrane" over the buttons is a bit fragile and can break.

Great scale for measuring out food for your meals.

This is my second one. My 1st died - through no fault of its own. The battery “exploded” and ruined it. I liked it so much that, when shopping for a replacement, I bought the identical scale again. I’ll probably only use the original battery for a little while - as that’s the battery that killed my old one.I don’t do a ton of kitchen type weighing - but if you get creative, this can be used for more purposes - which is why the “tare” function is so handy. I even used it for weighing my dog - she was only 3.2 lbs at her heaviest. Put a large enough bowl on the scale - hit tare - then put her in the bowl.This is a simple, no nonsense scale. Sure there’re some scales out there with more bells and whistles than I’d ever need, but on a practical level? - why pay for all that?The slope down the front makes accessing the buttons easy when there’s something on the scale. I never had any problems seeing the display - even if my container was larger than the scale’s table.This is a “perk-free” review.

This is a good little scale. Easy to use, easy to clean, looks great, easy to read and adjust the settings. I enjoy using it.

5+ years of daily use, and this little scale has been chugging along beautifully. I think I've changed the battery once in that time, crazy! It's accurate to the gram, which has been plenty accurate enough for my meal prepping, baking, and cooking!
