zero-G 4001-100 Garden Hose, 5/8" x 100', Gray

I love this hose! It is my favorite that I have ever had. I am 78 years old and was finding it difficult to wrangle the weight and lesser flexibility of a rubber or vinyl hose, which impacted how often I used a hose. My plants were thirsty! This Zero G hose is amazing. It is virtually effortless to use and equally easy to coil and uncoil. I have only had it for about a month, so I can't say yet how it will hold up in the desert sun and heat, but even if it turns out not to last as long as a conventional hose, it would still be worth it because of the ease and convenience of use. It does seem to be well made and sturdily constructed, connects easily and tightly to the faucet and to a sprayer on the end, and the fabric-like texture feels better in the hand than a slippery rubber or vinyl hose. Also, because it is lighter weight, it does not crush the grass the way rubber or vinyl hoses do if you leave it on the grass for a while. I cannot recommend this product more heartily!

Git this to replace old Crafstman rubber hose because the rubber hose was very old and getting to heavy for me to lug around the yard. Got the 100 ft. Zero G. I really like it, but it is a slightly different animal. It is very light. It is not the expandable type, but it collapses flat when not under pressure. When not under pressure, it is a bit like a wet noodle. It has a slippery woven cover that slides over things easily. It can kink, but the water flow continues. My only negative thought is that if it ever develops a leak, it may not be repairable like rubber or plastic hoses are with commonly sold repair kits. Hopefully, I won't have to find out.

Light, strong, easy to store...perfect!

I owned this brand of hose for many years and it does an incredible job. I love how lightweight it is and easy to wind up when I’m done. The only negative I would say is the attachment at the main part of the Spicket. Sometimes if it is not screwed on tight enough, there can occasionally be some leaking when this hose is turned on. Otherwise great quality Over many years outside in the sun. Highly recommend.

I have several of these hoses in 50’ and 100’ lengths. They are much easier to handle than a standard old fashioned rubber-type hose. Easier to store on a hose rack and easier to drag around the yard and garden. Lighter - a lot lighter. Much less likely to catch on and tear up plants or yard ornaments. They are relatively easy to handle while filled with water pressure, but for best results and ease of handling, turn off the water, open your spray nozzle, and release the water pressure. Last year’s hoses were stored outside all winter, but still look good and are holding up well. But if I had to guess, I would say the old fashioned rubber-type hoses will last longer - but even if that guess is correct, these hoses are so much easier to use that I’m willing to settle for a shorter useful lifespan.

I love this hose because it’s easy to move around the yard and not heavy. I don’t like those curl up hoses. This acts like a rubber hose without the bulk and weight. Bought 2 for my 90 year old mother who still gardens. She is thrilled! Worth the price, high quality has lasted for over 4 years (squirrel or something chewed through one) other hose I’ve had for 6 years! It will fade over time

This hose is wonderful! it does not kink! its light! it's long (100ft)! Highly Recommend!

I bought a Zero-G two weeks ago and I was so satisfied with it I decide to buy another one for the back of my house. The first one is very lightweight and easy to maneuver. I was able to coil all 100ft into a hose pot easily. And it has been almost kink free while moving it around the yard. I decide to buy a second Zero-G for my backyard since it was working so well. When the 2nd hose arrived, I took it out of the box, attached it to the outdoor faucet, and it immediately sprung a leak about five ft down the hose line from the faucet. It was spraying water in two directions. I am having that hose replaced so I'm on a wait and see status as to the durability of these hoses.

Yo lo compre con intención de usarlo para alimentar mi hidro lavadora eléctrica de alrededor de 1.3gpm. Tienes que dejar que corre el agua por el sistema del hidro por mas tiempo de lo normal antes de arrancarlo. Ese fue el único detalle, como que la linea llega a tener much aire entonces SIEMPRE deja que el agua pase por toda la manguera incluso el del hidro antes de arranco el hidro para que no lo dañe.La manguera es bastante ligera cuando no tiene agua haciéndolo fácil para transportar, yo lo guardo después de cada uso porque la verdad no confió mi perros con esa manguera.Pero si lo recomiendo

These still kink, not as bad as the rubber hoses, & are much lighter than rubber hoses.

Yes, this hose is more expensive but the quality, construction and material is much better. Bought this for my RV, much lighter, flexible and easy to store
