Did what I expected

Awesome stuff!
Used it to hold an oscilloscope probe in place on a printed circuit board while temperature-testing that board. Worked great, held fast from just below 0C to about 65C. Truly insulating - did not affect operation of the circuits it touched on the board.

Worked great
A little hard to work with but all in all, the function worked great

Not easy to use, but does the job.
I bought this for a submersible pump, and it certainly can do the job, but it's a bit disagreeable to work with, especially if it's cold out. It's not really putty, as one would think of it, it's just this revolting rubber that kind of merges with itself, but not as completely as a putty would. It's thoroughly disgusting.I used it, but found the shrink sleeve worked much better. But, I wrapped this around the shrink wrap to make it extra safe, but it wouldn't conform properly due to it's nauseating texture, so I heated it up, and was able to manipulate it more. It's certainly a good insulator, but the form and the characteristics of this repugnant substance make it somewhat problematic if you have to shape it at all.

It's something!
I bought this only because someone who was doing a similar project used it. I have zero prior experience with this product. I found that it was really think and not very malleable, but maybe that was because it was like 40 degrees in my garage? At first I was like, this stuff isn't any good, but then I realized that I could stretch it out like a combination of electrical tape and putty, and this let me wrap the audio connections like a glove. I still used a couple of zip ties to keep it in place because these wires were going in an area where I wouldn't be often checking on.Still LOLing at having to confirm I am a professional. :)

I love this stuff.
I recently built a guitar amp. There were several places where boards and wires would come very close to the grounded chassis. This putty tape solved the problem. It's about 1/8 inch thick, malleable, and very sticky (on both sides).

I returned this item because it has absolutely ZERO adhesive ...
I returned this item because it has absolutely ZERO adhesive - couldn't get it to stick to ANYTHING I tried.
