Used to infuse my homemade laundry detergent. Citronella is a natural bug repellent. Keeps my clothing safe from moths and when I wear it; a natural deterrent for mosquitoes. I never get bit.

This is a cheap alternative to flea collars & shampoos. I use about 1/4 teaspoon in quarter cup of shampoo that is ok for dogs. Solution doesn't keep so can't be pre-mixed. This is a mix as needed solution. I have 2 medium & 2 toy dogs so this is plenty. I then use a cotton swab to put some on a cotton ball & swab it on on area where adjustable collar overlaps. This prevents direct skin contact. I also use a cotton ball & swab some on ceiling of thier indvidual kennels, pillows & beds. The end result is a very rare inscet bite noted. I have a million allergies, plus I've had dogs with same problem in past. Flea & tick products have affected both of us. I have no problem with this product. I pour product into a glass contatiner. I then pour it back into bottle. What's left I pour into measuring spoon for use. I use a cotton swab to put product onto cotton swab. This works for me to keep waste & contamination to a minimum. I put product onto a cotton ball because swabs drip & I want to avoid direct skin contact.

Greenalls (Green Health) is the BEST for oils. I regularly buy citronella, eucalyptus, and neem oils for a special bug spray mix for my horse. (You don't want your horse stung while riding; believe me, that ground is hard.) These oils come in great plastic or aluminum containers and the packing and shipping was excellent. I once bought a neem oil from another manufacturer and it became hard and almost impossible to use. I ended up throwing it away (but did recycle the bottle, which was no easy feat). Scent is not that strong but it did work well in my candles. Did have to use more oil than the norm but no mosquitoes so I’m satisfied.

YES!! So much citronella! I decided to make my own citronella candles this year. Buying oils at the local store is so expensive. This oil smells great, very citronella, but you don't get that chemical smell you find when buying store bought candles. I used soy way and have been using them on my patio for about a month!

We sprinkle this into the bedding in our horse’s stalls to keep the summer flies away!
