I always buy Scotch guard protector for fabric when I get any new carpet or upholstered furniture. It is a very good product.

Easy to use. Cleans up nicely. Use it all the time.

This item was on back order so had to wait a bit to receive it, which was expected but one of the cans was completely defective and I couldn’t use it at all. I paid for 4 cans and was only able to use 3 of them.

Easy to use

My house is decorated in cream mostly so I used this on several pieces. It works great. It has saved me from coffee spills several times it just sits on top without absorbing into the fabric. Amazing stuff!

Works ok but could be better

The product depicted on the Amazon image is a fabric protector. The product delivered has a different label and is essentially a water proof formula. It appears that Scotchguard no longer manufactures the original product.I was especially dismayed by the advertising error, but more peeved by the ‘no return or refund’ policy from the vendor. Given the clear difference between the image posted on the Amazon site and the actual product, this is clearly consumer fraud.

I've used for years and loved it but 3m stopped making it. Had to order guardsman protector as the water protector 3 m now makes doesn't cut it like their original fabric protector
