What is important to know is the introduction and instructions it comes with in the package..
That it comes with instructions on how to utilize the arm strengther in so many procedures... Not just one way. Easy to adjust, great design and quality built!! It's awesome.. giving me the opportunity to increase not just my arm, but the wrist strength, Biset strength, and elbow strength.

Fabulous wrist/forearm strengthener
Wrist pain with any upper body weight bearing? This is the perfect way to improve wrist & forearm strength. It allows for an easy & portable way of variable resistive exercise so you can gradually increase strength & stability while significantly decreasing risk for injury.Good variable resistanceA little difficult to get hand into correct position, but worth the effort. Easy for all ages. As a Physical Therapist & Yoga Instructor, I use within my practice & recommend to all my school age, collegiate and adult athletes, to all my yoga clients wanting to tackle arm balances (or whom reportwrist pain in any upper limb weight bearing asanas or transitions, to all of my patients that are wheelchair bound & rely on their upper body for transfers, all of my avid golfers, tennis or pickleball players, gymnasts & cheerleaders!

Good for Therapeutic Strengthening!
Disclaimer: I am not a doctor or a physical therapist! I have been struggling for months with Tennis Elbow in both arms. I have tried countless remedies to resolve the soreness to no avail. It is painful to write, wash my hair, and virtually everything else that requires forearm flexion and extension. Then I pondered... maybe the reason why this has been going on for so long is because I have been favoring my arms too much (make my kids mow the lawn, wash the dishes. etc.). Perhaps I need to gently exercise the muscles while minimizing the strain on the tendons?Well, this gizmo has provided some relief! I have it set on the least-resistant position, and do a few sets of 10-12 reps on each arm in both the classic and reverse wrist curl positions.Because I have the resistance set so low, the stabilizer bar rests directly on the top of the wrist joint in the classic curl position. If you have any hair on that joint, the stabilizer bar puts a mighty tug on them!Regardless, the subtle relief I have experienced is wonderful, and I will continue this light exercise routine until I am pain free. Once that goal is met, I will increase the resistance and start building my Popeye forearms!I am glad my kids are learning these important life skills too!

Great for jiu jitsu conditioning of the wrists
Not sure why there were so many bad reviews and people said there were no instructions how to use this since it comes with instructions in the box. Even if there were no instructions it is very intuitive how to use. This device works very good and feels comfortable to use. You can adjust the fulcrum point but it was already set perfectly. The spring is not super strong. The average person should not have a problem doing 5-10 reps. I bought this to strengthen my wrists for jiu jitsu and was able to crank out 30 reps no problem the first time. I wish it was more resistance but slowing down reps and holding under tension is a way to increase the difficulty. You can do reverse wrists curls as well to strengthen the antagonist muscles of the wrist. This seems fairly sturdy so should get a lot of use out of it. I definately recommend this as a supplemental tool for jiu jitsu conditioning along with hand grips to build hand strength too. If you need something for rehab due to wrist injury I think the resistance might be a little too much. Might be better off starting out with 2 lb dumbbells first.

Pay close attention to how the item's dimensions will actually lay upon your arm, wrist, and hand.
This seems like this could be helpful for some - but it was not for me:I noted carefully the length and looked well at the images, but I found this wrist strengthener to be too short for me and it's design was such that the middle bar was situated exactly on a point on my previously fractured wrist which caused the most pain.I also found the strength of the spring being fixed and not adjustable not to my liking. My advice: perhaps take the measurements the literally draw them on paper and then see how it would actually fit on you,: where it would rest on your forearm, wrist, and fingers...

Not bad, it works.
This wrist strengthener is compact and easy to use, making it a great addition to your home gym. However, it's important to note that it can be a bit uncomfortable to use, as it puts pressure on the area you're using for support. For those of us with medium-sized hands, this product may be a bit of a tight fit. Larger sized hands? Forget it. Back to use medium sized hand people... if you're looking to build up your wrist strength and don't mind a bit of potential discomfort, it's a solid option.Overall, the Sportneer Wrist Strengthener is a decent product for those looking to add some variety to their wrist workout routine.
