We followed the instructions, and soaked the filter before installation. Figuring that you couldn't over soak a filter like this, which is usually under water at the bottom of the Keurig water tank anyway, we soaked it overnight, and weighted it down so it wouldn't float. I rinsed it before installation, and observed no charcoal leaks. We've been using the filter for about a month now, with no problems. The cost is way more reasonable than the Keurig version, and with a supply of 12 instead of 6, it's one less thing to have to remember. The only downside I see is that they come loose in a bag instead of neatly placed in a box, so they take a bit more room to store.

These work perfectly in my Keurig, and way less expensive.*Out of frustration over a new humidifier in the master, I decided to put one of these in each its tanks. Bam! No more white dust anywhere.The humidifier came with two little plastic cage-like pods with filters inside. Each about 1"x.5". Those didn't last two weeks before white dust began to settle on everything in the vicinity.These filters have been in place for two weeks with no hint of white dust.

If you own a Keurig machine you definitely need to buy these for your water. They keep out all of the impurities, like the hard water deposits that WILL clog up & ruin your machine. I bought these 12 filters for $9.95, but if you buy the same exact filters from Keurig it cost me $13.01 for just 2 filters. The best price you can get from Keurig is $14.95 for 6 filters, IF you sign up for auto ship.

These filters are terrible! Do not buy......buyer beware! We got to our second filter, and it rusted out the bottom of the tank, and stained it. It actually had brown pour out of it, and got all over..... I can imagine these are not safe or healthy. I have ordered other brands before, and never experienced this. Inexcusable! The brand should be more like "Not Good Cups".

These were a great value and buy. However, I never had an issue with other filters I have used. This one caused green mold to grow multiple times in my water holder of my coffee machine, which was extremely difficult to wash out also. I did have it sit in water and rinsed it before placing it in the filter holder as well. Plan on throwing out the rest I have.

GoodCups fit perfectly in my Keurig 2.0.Soak the filter for 15 minutes in cold water. Hold filter for 30 seconds under running cold tap water. Install into machine. These filters work perfectly in my Keurig coffee maker and the coffee always tastes fresh. Much cheaper than buying name brand filters.
