Great product
I needed a stud finder and choose this one because it supposedly finds multiple things in the wall. It works as described! I have used it successfully several times. It fits my hand well. It's easy to use. It's easy to read. I'm very comfortable with this product and recommend it.

The Best One Yet
I bought this after owning a couple other well known brands. None of them were cheap ones either. But now I have finally found one that will do a "deep scan" and find the studs I am looking for. In my case, I needed to mount grab bars onto a bathtub surround. The surround was made out of 3/8 inch Corian. Under that was 1/2 inch drywall - the dense kind that is used for wet environments. In back of that was a vapor barrier. Then came the studs. NO PROBLEM! And right on the money! I am not paid for reviews. I own this. I highly recommend it. And by the way, when comparing stud finders, I was pleasantly surprised to see they offer a lifetime warranty on this product!

Seems to misread a fair bit on various settings.
So far it seems the AC detection is very accurate; something I cannot say for most other stud finders. That's worth it in its own right, as a small-time DIYer for home stuff. But the metal scanning is abysmal (tons of false positives), and the stud scanning is maybe only better than average in my experience. Occasional but consistent false positives (as in if it once read a false positive in a location, it will often repeat such in the same spot), but seemingly no missed studs.Edge and center detection seem fairly reliable.More than I wanted to spend on a stud-finder, and still not as reliable as I'd hope for. "good enough" but maybe a bit expensive for most.

Full featured easy to read large lighted screen, love electrical and battery indicators.
The media could not be loaded. I seem to go through stud finders about every 5 years or so. They just seem to stop working well after some time. I usually buy the cheaper models, so I guess I should expect that. This Zircon is a step up from what I usually buy. There are a few things I like about this model (A200) and a few minor things I don't. The things I like are the accuracy when it finds a stud and the red light on center. The ability to show electrical is great. This is a new feature for me. One great feature is the battery indicator. I have found that stud finders are quite particular about having a fully charged strong battery in them. In the cheaper models you don’t know the battery is weakening and you start having problems or difficulties. Usually, a fresh strong battery is the solution. This one is no different. I installed a “new” battery but right away it showed it was low and the device has some operational issues. I found another new battery that was strong, and the device worked fine. Seeing the charge level of the battery is a great feature. The things I don't like are the size.... it is kind of large in my hand. Also, it is a little touchy with regard to finding studs, sometimes it reads falsely, you really need to go over a suspected stud a few times to make sure you have a stud. This is no different than others I have used. Also, this has a metal search, great for finding pipes and such.Overall, this is a good device for the money. I wish it was a little smaller and didn’t get false reading like it does from time to time but these are minor issues.Positives:• Nice large screen• Full featured, electrical, stud, metal scan• Battery monitor when low• Clear lighted indication of center of stud• Reasonable costNegatives:• Rather large size in hand• Can get false reading sometimes.Honestly this is a good device. I think it could be made a little better, perhaps a rechargeable built in lithium battery instead of these 9 volts and a smaller more ergonomic design but again, this is a solid device that I expect years of service from, and my dislikes are pretty minor.Recommended 5 stars. This is my honest review of this item; I hope this it was helpful in your buying decision process.

Easy to use, fast connectivity, reliable readings
This scanner works great my Navion RV and helped me tremedously for a smog check. Never change the chassis battery right before a smog check as the vehicle can loose all the codes needed to pass. I ultimately had to have the DEF tank replaced and then used this again to check when all codes were clear.

Don't Expect Miracles
It works OK like similar stud finders. I find the manufacturers claims to be a bit inflated.

Works great! A replacement for 30yo Zircon. Calibrates very fast.
I bought this to replace my previous Zircon stud finder that I had for about 30 years before it gave up the ghost. This one does about the same thing, but has more bells and whistles, such as showing the center of a stud rather than scanning back and forth. It also seems to be able to find things deeper and more accurately than the old one.I see a lot of comments on this and other stud finders about the need to calibrate, or the unit does not always detect the studs correctly. "Calibration" is what the stud finder MUST do to be able to detect things behind the wall. This sets a basis for the unit to know what the "normal" wall looks like: how deep the Sheetrock/wall material is, how dense it is, etc., so it can detect changes to this. If you don't let the unit calibrate, it WILL NOT WORK!To "calibrate" simply hold the unit against the wall and push the button until the unit beeps. 2-3 seconds, then scan while holding the button down.

Gets the job done, but not always precise
It works, but it's not always spot-on. I often have to scan the same area more than once or double-check with another tool to confirm the results. For basic tasks, it's fine-but don't expect perfect accuracy evtime. Still a decent tool overall, just be prepared to verify your findings.
