Very useful tool. It works as it supposed to!

Worth the cost
This doweling jig performs very well. The parts are accurately milled. Even the brad point bits are of good quality. The only negatives... The jig came with one of the plastic cushions missing from its clamp. Another issue, one that has been mentioned by many others, the jig comes without any instructions. I have to say that the missing instructions weren't a problem for me, but I'm an experienced woodworker. Another issue -- no storage box. The last negative -- the jig is based on the metric scale. You'll have to buy metric dowels. Standard 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" dowels are not OK. All this said, I'm pleased with the purchase.

Better than trying to do it by hand.
The tiny allen nuts don't hold the spacing arm in place, so it moves, making the holes out of alignment. So you have to pay close attention to that.I drilled 160 10mm holes and the bit went dull. The guide hole wore down as well. Fortunately you can replace one guide with another.It is much cheaper than a domino machine but the domino may have been a better option.
