I love the fan itself, sturdy, sleek to look at, doesn’t take up any room.Blade-less.Although I have a metal blade fan too, that’s powerful but very noisy and pulls the curtains into it if in front of them.This Dreo fan is perfect. A great price atm.This seemed new when I opened it.It’s very powerful and quiet.I did look up the best 10 dans on Google and these came up.I bought the smart one first and had to send it back as it didn’t osculate . It also wasn’t packed as well as this one was, so I’m guessing it wasn’t new.On you tube it show a 5 year guarantee card included. Maybe they have stopped that as there wasn’t one in there. Unless you have to pay for that. Idk. But it has a 30 month guarantee anyway and you can always get one through D & G anyway later.I love the fan.Very happy with my purchase.1 is cool enough up close and there are 6 settings. No 6 blew me away lol.Easy to use. Rotates, timer if needed 🙂🙂

Purchased this item to update the old one we had. I read all the reviews good and bad, and firstly wonder what planet some people are on.This fan is quiet, 34db which is like being in a library. It rotates and cooks a decent sized room in minutes. No actually it does.I have it on setting 2 which is a great cooling effect. It goes up to 5 but not needed that yet.It also has a sturdy base which has to be clipped together. Says so in the instructions. It is not heavy and can be taken from room to room. Just ensure you have a flat surface. Common sense really.It has a great night function where it decreases the fan speed therefore keeping you cool and comfortable.At A margin under 70 pounds it is a great buy. It does not require endless ice packs which need freezing down and water added at the back. It is a great cooling fan.If you want artic conditions move to Russia in winter.

I bought this for my home office as I wanted a vertical, linear fan that was reasonably quiet and put out a fairly even flow of air in a long, narrow room.Firstly, the out of box build time is sub-5 minutes - you just attach the base to the fan taking care to route the cable through the base plate, as per instructions.I have found that even level 2 (of 6) fan speeds is enough on a hot day to produce a nice cooling breeze from 3 m. It's quiet enough that you can have a relaxed phone conversation without a lot of white-noise. Unlike a circular fan the vertical blades seem to generate less paper-hurling vortex action: so this is good in an office.My only critique would be that, for me, I'd like to set an oscillation angle of say 30 degrees, rather than 90. You can get this option on the more expensive model, so you pay your money and make your choice! You can just find a sweet spot and get it to hold position.Unlike pretty well everything that comes out of China with a pointless remote control, the handset is neat, easy to understand and genuinely useful.

I choose this fan after reviewing several others on Amazon, some of which were much cheaper as they were in a sale. To me this fan seemed to have the best reviews.It is effective and quiet, with a remote control and various fan speeds; great for this current heat wave.However there are negatives for me; it is very light and top heavy, so maybe unsuitable around small children and pets; also being black it really stands out against our light walls and furniture.Cools very well but could be more visually appealing, hence the four stars. It was also delivered on a different day than appeared during checkout and in the verification email which was annoying, as I had taken a day off especially.

i found this on amazon and read both the good and the bad reviews but decided to take a chance - so very glad i did. the fan tower i very tall, the base is easy to put together and was up and running within five minutes.it has 6 settings and number 2 was enough to cool a room, its incredibly quiet so its ideal for light sleepers. the buttons on the tower and remote are very easy to understand and for the price i consider it a true bargin would recommend to everyone

A lot taller/wider than I expected, great product and the fan speeds are amazing!! I only need speed 1 on at night, speed 2-4 on warm days and now just waiting for sunny hot weather. I believe speed 6 will be enough to keep my flat cool though, even with the sun shining in the room all day heating up the flat. Great fan!

The fan is very powerful & very quiet.I only need to use it on the lowest setting.In my lounge I have it within arm's reach; it's powerful enough to keep me cool yet it doesn't impact listening to the TV or music.I have it about 6ft away if/when I use it at night time. Again I use the lowest setting & it provides a good cooling breeze & again negligible noise level does not disturb my sleep. It's a little bit awkward to move from lounge to bedroom but certainly NOT difficult.It cools very effectively but please note it is NOT an air conditioning unit (doesn't claim to be) so it has no "cold function". I purchased a small metal water bowl from Pets at Home that comes with hooks for a small pet cage. I fill the metal bowl to approx ¾ capacity & freeze the water, then place the bowel into the holder with hooks when required, and hey presto even more cooling.Would definitely recommend this fan.

Arrived on time, simple to erect and looks good in situ. Really good at throwing out some nice cool air, and we find just using the minimum control for cool air is more than sufficient for our needs but it can go up to a real hurricane of a blow if needed. Oscillation works well and cools the room very quickly. Also nice and quiet when on which is what we wanted if used when we sleep, and can also be moved very easily to cool other rooms owing to its mobility. Very pleased with the purchase.
