Exceptional sound quality for what is a compact unit. Crisp and rich sound delivered via pre-set and adjustable sound output for treble, mid and base. Remote control is very useful too and use that significantly more than anticipated. The unit and remote are intuitive to use and nice to have on-screen information about tracks listened to. A very attractive unit the oozes quality. As expected from a high quality brand such as Roberts. Worth every penny. Only downside is the new model does not have a wireless charger as was advertised. Ive shared this with the seller.

I deliberately waited almost two years to review this radio, to make sure it was reliable, and without any problems, which I am glad to say it has fulfilled.We needed a modern styled radio that blended in with our newly refurbished room.This little device fits the bill nicely, with a well styled, superbly finished, sleek design.Easy to set up and tune the stations, with help from the instruction leaflet.Great sound right from the start, you can tweak the settings, but we liked the sound straight out of the box.The remote control takes a while to get used to, but with help from the instructions, its no longer a problem.This little beauty, also plays CDs, which for us, was the clincher. We have a fair few CDs, and it would have been a shame to give them away. I also don't want to spend half a day looking at a device screen and wondering what to play next, just pop in a CD, and away you go!Sound quality is great considering its size, and is ideal for low level background music, although it can play loud if required. Highly recommended.

Easy to set up, very easy to use and very well designed. Bought it mainly because I wanted to listen again to my extensive classical music CD collection which was gathering dust. Sound quality is excellent and room filling and equally good on radio and/or via Bluetooth. Roberts quality, highly recommended.

Even after having a Blutune 200 (which I still have) for some time and appreciating its excellent qualities I am finding the Blutune 300 surpasses the 200 in most ways.The Blutune 300 is a high quality small music centre with a wooden case and impressive looks. The unit offers a full suite of options including DAB+, FM, CD (including the ability to play mp3 and aac files from CDs), USB, Bluetooth, and a Line-In socket. This is perfect for any input I am likely to want to use. This unit even has a wired headphone socket which is not available on many units of this type.The sound quality on the Blutune 300 is truly incredible for it’s size. My Blutune 200 sounds very good as well but the 300 is another step up for the fidelity and pristine balance of audio frequencies in my view. In addition to equaliser presets which are improved on this unit, the Bass, Mid, and Treble frequencies can be controlled separately to ensure the perfect sound. So far, everything set flat is perfect for Radio and CD reproduction which I use most, and even for streaming music and film sound over Bluetooth. The available volume is plenty to fill most rooms and does not exhibit any obvious distortion at higher levels. The stereo sound image is not bad either considering the speakers are not far apart. I’m very impressed!The display, mostly white text on a black background, is of visibly higher quality than in previous models, such as the Blutune 200, but is let down by the fact it is a little smaller overall and the text size used is tiny so that I have to be no more than 3 - 4 feet away to see it well enough to use the unit properly. (The size of the menu text is about the same as you would find in the average novel, say, so cannot be seen from any appreciable distance.) The exception to this is the clock shown in standby mode which is large enough to be seen from across a fairly large room. The small text used generally in this display does allow more to be seen at once when close-by, but for using the remote control at a greater distance is unhelpful. In this regard the larger text on the Blutune 200 is far more useful. I would like to see a future software update for this system to provide the option to use larger text for those (me included) who wish to prioritise ease of use with the remote control at a distance.The system includes a comprehensive remote control which, despite offering full control of the unit, is rendered somewhat useless unless I am within 3 - 4 feet of the unit to successfully read the screen. All the controls are also available on top of the unit itself so, given the need to be close to see the screen, it is often easier to just use the controls on the unit instead. (I am finding I can learn button push sequences to get around with the remote control when too far away to see the screen menus properly which helps but is not ideal.)The Blutune 300 initially seemed somewhat expensive, but it offers a far better all-round experience than cheaper units so you do seem to get the quality you pay for. I have dropped a star due to the disappointing experience with the screen while using the remote control at distance (described above) but the Blutune 300 is undoubtedly an excellent unit that I would consider to be just about perfect should that issue be addressed.

There’s nothing to dislike with this radio/Cd player. I bought it to replace a Bose cd/radio player which had ceased reading Cd’s. Very pleased with the quality and sound, and it looks very smart. Haven’t tried all the radio programs yet and so far and have not connected another device yet.

Great product, quality sounds and great design, would highly recommend.

Display screen stopped working after three months. Really poor for something at this price. There are a lot of refurbs of this model kicking around and I’d worry that the quality isn’t good enough. Best to avoid and get something better for this hefty price.
