SceptreIPS 24-Inch Computer LED Monitor 1920x1080 1080p HDMI VGA up to 75Hz 300 Lux Build-in Speakers 2021 Black (E249W-FPT)

I would recommend to buy the SCEPTRE monitor based my experience for extended screen.Before using SCEPTRE, I used Dell and Samsung monitor which are costlier $ than SCEPTRE. Both the brands had issue with extended screen sharing. Hence i planned to by this monitor and to my suprise it worked without issuses. Those who has doubt on the brand can trust the SCEPTRE, i can assure it will fullfill your expectation.

I received this monitor very quickly from Amazon prime day sale. The box appeared to have been previously opened and retaped before I ever opened it but I said what the heck let’s see what’s going on here. When I opened the box a purchase receipt from April for this exact item was inside the flap. That led me down the road of wondering why it was returned and I assumed I would find a problem with the screen picture. I carefully unpackaged the monitor being careful to save all of the appropriate packaging in case I needed to return it myself. Upon hooking the HDMI cord to my laptop I was pleasantly surprised to find that this monitor works perfectly and will suffice for what I need which is not gaming. I went back and read the description of the listing I purchased and I cannot find anywhere that it states this is a refurbished or returned item. I am going to keep it. Not that I am against a refurbished item but it should have been disclosed upfront that’s what I would be receiving.

The monitor is a good budget one; however, certain colors make the particular area of the screen flicker.For example, the monitor flickers on certain grays and beige colors -- it's not one stationary area of the monitor, so if I move the window/tab with said colors, the screen flickers on that surface area of the colors on that window/tab. If that makes sense.Example, if I open an image of a gray or beige square and have it on the bottom right corner of the monitor -- that gray or beige flickers. If I move that image to another area of the screen, the same thing happens. So it's not a defective area of the monitor's screen/pixels, it's just that the monitor doesn't pick up certain colors well.

The monitor itself is a great upgrade from my previous setup (old TV). I really would not rate it above most monitors available today but it is definitely not an inferior product. I think this would be suitable in many different scenarios from gaming to business settings. The thin (edgeless) design would work well in a multiple screen setup also.My biggest and currently only gripe with this monitor is the print on the top of the box stating: "Save all packaging materials. Warranty VOID if not transported in original packaging." How does packaging material affect the warranty??? It may be to my advantage to keep the material but I should not be forced to do so for warranty purposes!!!! I can assume all responsibility for properly packing and shipping it back if there were a problem without being forced to repackage it in the original material. For me, tossing the box in the name of decluttering may be worth the risk of a future claim.

I played some Monster Hunter Rise with this pc, and the picture quality is amazing! I also did a test recording on OBS and usually when I stream or record, on my old 1680x1050 monitor, there would be black bars, and this monitor totally eliminated that issue. The lighting is brighter and it doesn't make games too bright or too dimmed out, its just perfect! The speaker quality is pretty good for being integrand into the monitor, but if you wanted a louder speaker, then I would definitely go buy a separate pc speaker. Overall this monitor is very good, and it isn't too big that it will take up space on ya desk :)
