Will there be more in stock soon?

Nope. There won't. Not ANY time soon. So dust off your most neglected consoles and give them some love right now. Lots of great videogames from the past are calling. The PS5 library is as much a joke as the system's lack of storage, ugly design, lackluster performance that can't meet its expectations, and its stock shortages are.

No one gets PS5. There will never "be" PS5. PS5 is a myth, like the lock ness monster.

Realistically, don't even think about buying this console until sometime in mid-late 2023 at the VERY earliest possible. Unless you want to drive yourself mad with "invitations" to buy one that in fact are only invitations to get skunked after bots have taken all the "invitation" stock that you were "invited" to buy. Seriously. this site's "invitations" are a joke, and so are even the ones you get from Playstation's site itself. This shortages haven't improved at all, and show ZERO signs of change.

Just get a used PS4 off ebay for half the price of a PS5's MSRP. Then proceed to enjoy a console that actually has MORE storage space than a PS5 (if 1TB), and has a library of games that is huge, cheap, and EASY to collect right now. For ALL effecticve purposes, the PS5 is still an UNRELEASED console. I'm waiting for it to drop. I hear it MAY get released in 2023, but not gonna expect that.

Question 2

When is the next drop? because I’ve been trying for a whole yr

Don't count on Amazon, they don't announce their drops so that scalper bots can snap up all of their stock before any legitimate customers even have a chance to know its available. Then the scalpers list it at 2 to 3 times MSRP on Amazon Marketplace and Amazon gets a big commission. Everyone wins, except for the people who actually want to get a PS5 for themselves. I'm really considering cancelling prime, Amazon clearly doesn't care for its customers.

Question 3

Why is this so hard to get?  Why can't prime members pre order? There was no priority to members no notifications,  nothing!

In Taiwan or Japan,  I believe Taiwan they had a major fire at one of there chip plants(Samsung I think) destroyed everything. These micro chips are worth 100's of billions of dollars in products NOT ONLY for PS5 consoles, consumers in the auto, television, cpu's, military an even most importantly technology that makes the whole world fundamentally function in what the globe relies on.

They have power, sewage, oil & gas plant stations that run off of microchips which in many cases generally fry out but in weather conditions they are exclusively in more demanding an damage more often, even if the chips are running like a champ they still end just replacing them or cycling it as back ups.

So for these reasons it is critically more important then consumers getting there video game on. 
Not to mention the pay out an demand in priority to make more money in the these other fields.

But I feel yall too, I just ended getting my 5 yr. Old a WII for now until next year.

The war still is also effective the economy in the chip plant field among many others.

BTW I worked in Rio Rancho, Albuquerque, NM at Intel's microchip plant pipe welding for a year an so iv roughly learn quite a bit picking all the engineers brains in various convos.

It only takes a couple specs of dust or microscopic particles to destroy a $20k-40k wafer that these chips are created on, ain't no salvaging partial areas of the wafer. It gets completely junked or recycled for another product.
