PUR® 4-Stage Under Sink Universal Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System

I needed to replace our R/O system at my place of business. Our municipal water is VERY hard, I don't dare drink it. I had hoped that it would be plug & play changing from the old system to the new one. Unfortunately, it was not as easy but not horrible. Overall instructions were clear. We had to drill a new hole in a stainless steel sink for spigot. The old one had a smaller hole. We went through 2 circular drills but got it done. We had to drill a bigger hose for the drain. The tank is smaller than my old tank. But was able to fill up a 3 quart container at one time. Which I had not been able to do with the old system for 2 yrs or more. The old system has the filters changed regularly but the bladder on the tank was bad. I could not get the cover off to change the membrane. While it took me a while to get to where my husband & I would install the new system. In the end it was worth it.

Im very impressed....The best installation manual I have ever seen. Everthing is color coded, hoses, and connections as well. The rest of the manual covers everything , and I do mean everything. You could be a nun and install it (: The quality of everything is A 1. Imhave always had RO units in my homes. I also worked and built large scale RO commercial units. I decided to go under sink water filtration after getting tired of lugging 5 gallon water bottles to and from. The filter works as advertised and the water tastes great. However I am disappointed greatly in the efficiency of this filter system. Most filter system have a pure water: to drain ratio but this system's ratio is garbage. For every gallon of drinking water this sytem is going to send close to 3 down the drain. The pic shows a coffee pot and the amount of waste created filling it up. Unacceptable.

Good replacement for a 15 year old unit.Water is clear and tasty.Easy assembly and attachment.

Easy to install, came with everything I needed to replace my old system after 15 years it was time. I am no plumber so was a breeze did it in 30 minutes.
