NOT JUST FOR ORCHIDS!
Just preface.. if you have had a bad experience w/ this product, I truly believe that you either didn’t follow the directions or you used it in a way that it’s not supposed to be used bc I’ve been using this stuff for years now n even the one time that I messed up the dilution rate for a plant that had root rot n I accidentally doubled it, nothing bad happened. I have used this stuff for EVERYTHING n I have never had a bad experience yet. N I have used this on every plant I own at some point. From a Monstera Albo, Philo Melanochrysum, burro tail cactus, palm trees, string of turtles, banana trees, colocasias, amaranth flowers, etc. This is hands down one of the best products to have if you’re a plant enthusiast. It does it all. (Except kill pests! Just fyi) I bought it originally bc I found some rust fungus on a couple of White Knight Philos I bought as rehab plants. This fixed the issue right away. They’ve each put out 2-3 leaves since treating them n not a single rust spot. So I was obviously impressed n went to town w/ seeing what else this could do. Algae in your semi hydro pots? Make a bucket w/ the appropriate dilution rate n dunk your pots in the mixture & air dry.. it slows down the algae growth process! Before I had to clean my pots atleast once every 2 months bc of algae. It’s been 3 months n there isn’t any algae growth on any of the pots I treated. Do you have mold growing on your terracotta pots? Spray the outside of the pots or soak the pots before use & it will slow it down or kill already molding pots. Are your self watering wicks turning green after just a few days? Treat them w/ the same method as the pots. I do dilute that mixture a little bit more than the directions say to. I’m not sure if it’s necessary. I just wanted to be safe n test it out first. So far so good. No algae build up on my wicks n it’s been about 3 weeks. Before this my wicks would be green within a week! Did your plant get root rot? Chop off all of the dead roots, fill a spray bottle w/ water & add the appropriate amount to the bottle. Shake. Spray the roots down, let them air dry. Then dip the root ball in some rooting hormone &/or some mycorrhizae powder, throw it in some damp sphagnum & give it some time to heal. It will start throwing out new growth in no time. Sometimes if you don’t treat root rot after cutting off the dead parts, the plant could still have issues even after removing it from the pot & putting it in sphagnum. So this will help kill any bacteria/mold n help so your plant can heal & regrow its roots. Do you have some plant saucers that are green & sludge? No worries. Spray the saucer w/ the diluted mix, let it sit for a few, scrub w/ a brush or sponge & once it’s clean, spray the dried saucer or dunk the saucers in a bucket of the diluted mix & let it air dry. Do you have something going on w/ a couple plants that you can’t quite figure out? Maybe it’s some yellowing that isn’t due to pests, lighting, humidity, over/underwatering & you’re scratching your head confused? Spray the plants down w/ the diluted mixture 1-2x a week for 3-4 weeks. Obviously this won’t work for EVERY ailment that affects plants. But since it covers so many bases, the odds are that this could definitely fix the issue. Again, unless it’s pests or an environmental issue. You won’t know what the issue was caused by. But atleast you can stop it from spreading. My brother had an issue w/ his strawberry shake philos where the leaves were browning n turning to mush.. no root rot. Not environmental since it was only a few of them that were grouped together but in the same room, w/ the same lights/humidity/air circulation/soil/watering schedule etc. the others in the same room were thriving. He was stumped. I thought it could be some kind of virus or pest but we looked at all of the plants w/ microscopes & no pests. Plus he uses predatory bugs so it just didn’t make sense. I told him to try this stuff out.. he did just that. He chopped off all of the infected leaves & sprayed the plants down, within a couple weeks the plants were throwing new leaves & no more issues w/ the older leaves dying. We don’t know what the issue was.. but the problem was fixed! I’m not paid by this company btw. I just love this stuff n I wish I had found it sooner.

Great for controlling diseases
I spray prophylactically in my greenhouse about twice quarterly following some unpleasant fungal issue I had years ago - haven't had it since. Big fan. Many in my orchid society use this. It's also regularly used in my society when repotting plants into bark - by pre-soaking bark in a physan solution for 1-12 hours, you make sure the bark is moist, which is easier on the freshly repotted plant roots, and when that bark inevitably injures the plant roots during repotting, everything is in a more disinfected state than it might otherwise be. Less likely to get infected plant cuts that way.

Effective for clearing green water in African violet planters.
I was worried. Not only is the chemical aspect scary when mixing/storing (lots of warnings on the bottle) around my family and pets, but I was concerned this might harm my little African violets. But the green water despite all efforts to keep it clean was too much for me in the end. So I mixed up a gallon with water as directed and refilled my self watering planters with that mix. The water cleared (and stayed clear for several months after) and the plants continued to thrive as if nothing had phased them.

Terrific product
I have over 30 African Violet plants that are kept in wicking pots with clear water reservoirs. I have always had a severe problem with algae growing in the reservoirs; it was unavoidable but unsightly. I had tried numerous remedies recommended by fellow violet growers, all to no avail. Once I started using Physan 20, I noticed a major change in the pots. I no longer have the ugly algae problem in any of my water reservoirs. I thought algae was going to be the bane of my existence but Physan 20 changed all that! Love this product!

It works
My orchid had black spot, and this product stopped the progression on this leaf and to the rest of the plant. Can also drench the soil.

Great for orchids!
I live in Florida where fungus and bugs abound. I spray this chemical on my orchids once a month with a good fertilizer and it maintains a wonderful plant that blooms often.
