I purchased mine in October 2023, I cook for one 99% of the time, so it’s taken me this time to actually use all of the pans & figure out how I feel about them allSaucepans are saucepans - they hold water, they have lids & food cooks in them just as it would with other, much cheaper pans, so other than their pretty colour I cannot see what justifies their excessive price tag; milk still burns to the bottom of the pan no matter what gas level the hob is set to; Baked Beans still stick & require additional soaking to clean the pans - they all seem to have little scars from each stuck piece of food they have encountered - they actually behave like the very first pan set I got myself 30+ years ago when I first left home, only those cost less than £30, not over £300!The frying pans … they’re in a terrible state - the big one actually caught fire whilst I was cooking steak (I had to open my kitchen window & drop it out onto the ground outdoors, my back door was locked & didn’t have time to fumble for the keys whilst holding a burning pan; absolutely everything sticks to them, I have to put boiled water in them as soon as they’re empty & soak it throughout the meal so that I can get them something like clean, & I daren’t cook fish in them because I’d have nothing left of it, because it would have sealed itself to the inside of the frying pan.I’ve live in this house for 13 years, I’ve cooked in this house pretty much every day of those 13 years, but I’ve never had the upstairs smoke alarm go off when I’m frying an egg, my entire house smells of whatever I’ve fried & I know my meals done, so does the rest of the street, because the smoke alarm (downstairs) sounds every single time I use a frying pan.As you can see from the pictures & video these pans look old & stained - I received them on the 7th October 2023, but we went on holiday the following day therefore the first time they were used was the 19th October (I remember because it was 2 days prior to my 50th birthday). They are had washed, as I don’t own a dishwasher, & I don’t use abrasive scourers to try to clean them, just the washing up sponges with the green scourer on one side.I’m in the process of working out how to get a refund, as I’m not at all happy with these pans - I have actually just purchased a set of famous British chef endorsed pans, which were more expensive than these, but have a lifetime guarantee, so if I can’t send these back for a refund they will be going to the local tip in the very near future!
