Roland All-in-One VR-4HD 4 Channel AV Mixer with USB Stream/Record

Used this splitter for a presentation where we needed two camera feeds, and 2 computer feeds. One camera is HDMI, and the other camera is RGB-Composite. The transitions between the four video channels can be customized, and worked just great. You can select if the audio from a video feed needs to follow the video or not. Our previous splitter never did that. Also the four inputs on the left side will accept either a USB, XLR, or TRS feed. No need to switch.

Does a lot for it's relatively low cost. Some learning curve in set up and use, but all very accessible with a little work.

Love it love it , seriously only complain is lack of mounting option and no lockdown notch. Orherwise its fun and easy. Granted many cheaper option but this is easy for my student workers to use.

I like everything about this switcher but the thing I like the most is the BT 2020 color grade, secondly the audio mixer is superb if you know how to use it properly, I connected four (4) Sony 4K camcorders to this switcher - each camcorder set internally at 4k but HDMI output 1080p 60, I connected the output from the switcher to an Atomos Ninja Flame that has in a 4TB SSD Card with the Quality set at ProRes HQ which you can get 38 hours on the 4TB SSD Card at that Quality. The finish product is Great with the BT 2020 on it's already color graded and ready to produce.

Expensive..... but.... it's doing the work. I am using my Zoom Q8n4k cameras, with hdmi.... one day, i hope to afford wireless hdmi....

I. Love. This. Switcher. It serve the basic needs for my podcasts, ideal for any small production or sporting event (though I have not tested it outdoor - know your sport).I have not even scratched the surface yet, and I am getting nothing but "yes" to capability questions, so far.

Roland Us service seems to be missing in action. My device failed, I opened a request for warranty service. I had to open a second request multiple days later due to no response.Roland had a question that I answered right away. Again multiple days, NO RESPONSE.I am two weeks in to a request for service and I still have the failed device in my hands.I would appreciate some feedback from Roland about how to get my unit warranty service. My production operation is at a standstill.

Perfect for conferencing online using MS TEAMS and Power Point. Took me while to figure out but, once I connect the projector like a camera it worked flawlessly.
