Superb product with fexibility in fitting other brands - I had much concern that this Genuine Instant Pot Stainless Steel - 8 Quart Inner Cooking Pot would not fit as a replacement for my Cook's Essential 8 Quart Pressure Cooker Insert. This product was shipped faster than I expected, but I still had reservations about it fitting my product as a substitute right up until the point that I opened the box. After all, who wants to go through all of the trouble of returning merchandise on Amazon.com or anywhere else for that matter. Well, with all of the negative posts about this product, I still took a BIG chance in ordering it. So far, I don't have any regrets....though I've only used it once for Pressure Cooker Mac-n- Cheese (Delicious!!!). I did read several reviews/complaints that the product was shipped damaged or that the product felt like cheap quality metal. My package was properly boxed and protected with one Styrofoam insert to protect the top of the 8 Quart Pressure Cooker Insert. And here is where the potential problem may begin, this may save the shipper money in packaging, but it certainly leaves the buyer at risk of receiving a product that is damaged on the bottom. Suggestion for the shipper/seller - when shipping this product, please use that Styrofoam on the top and bottom of this product, your customers will thank you with many well deserved positive ratings.

I recently had to replace my pot insert. The quality is great! Fits the 8-quart instant pot perfectly.

Sometimes you get the burn notice while cooking and you still want to eat. I just take this extra pot I purchased and dump the contents into it and then keep cooking while I am scrubbing the burn off the other one. Sometimes I am making yogurt with the IP and the insert is in the fridge, so this inner pot is great as a spare so I can still make dinner. Other times I haven't run the dishwasher yet but those pesky family members still want to eat. I have an 8 qt Ultra and this fits perfectly, just like the original. I don't like having extras of stuff but this is a necessity. Sometimes I make a delicious honey garlic chicken and then as soon as that is cooked, the other insert has rice ready to be cooked!Pro tip - yogurt does not need the seal, just any glass lid so the yogurt doesn't absorb your dinner smell/flavor. ALSO buy some extra sealing rings if you plan on making spicy food one day but a sweet thing the next or you're going to end up with spicy smell soup/dessert/whatever.

I am so happy with my Insta-Pot brand 8 qt liner! I did not think about how handy it is to have two liners for one pot! This liner came very quickly and was in perfect condition. I am very happy with this purchase; it lets me do two different dishes, back to back; without stopping to wash the first liner (usually too hot to touch at this point) before doing my second item on my menu! I was so nervous considering my last purchase didn't work out. And let me tell you what... Looking for a stainless steel liner replacement has been absolute heck, for the emeril lagasse. But I finally found one. Even though this is instant pot brand, it works for me. I haven't cooked with it yet, (just got it in tonight,) but I did check to see if both lids fit, and activated my sensors. And it does....It does have a tiny little bit of wiggling though. However, if you're looking for a replacement for your emeril lagasse pressure cooker combo, then this will work for you.

Stainless steel pot is well worth the money. I love the fact that it's finish doesn't scratch off and it is easy to clean. Should have gotten it at the same time I got the instant pot. You won't regret buying this.
