I bought this to replace my braun series 7 as I didn't want to fork over another $150 for a foil shaver that stopped working on me in just under a year. I didn't have high expectations going in as this isn't a pricey product but wow, I'm really impressed. It's a quality product and I have nothing but good things to say. The battery life is amazing, I don't know any other electronic shaver with a 3 hour usage time. I charged it overnight when I first received the product and I have been using it for over a month without charging and it's still going strong. Shaving performance is excellent and rivaled my braun. Quality and performance for the price, can't be beat.

Dry shavers can last for years and years.However, wet/dry shavers can be notorious for their short lifespans.I prefer to shave in the shower using a wet/dry shaver with a dab of Cremo.I've experienced great luck with some brands, and bitter disappointment with others.Over the years I've gone through my fair share of shavers, and can differentiate the decent from the sub par.I am not an unreasonably demanding consumer, and not especially abusive to my equipment.But seriously,I've had some wet/dry shavers that have ended up lasting about as long as Hitler's marriage to Eva Braun.This Yasun shaver is a pretty basic, no frills deal.No horns or whistles or dancing girls (well, what do you expect for thirty bucks?).There's no big, fancy LCD readout indicating remaining battery time, or charge percentage.You just gauge it as you go, and be careful not wait too long between charges.Do that, and you'll be fine.I've been repeatedly traumatized by pricey shavers that have crapped out on me, so I'll just be cautiously optimistic here.I am no longer the brand snob I used to be, because this Yasun (a brand I'd never heard of) is outperforming top tier brand shavers that cost 2 to 3 times as much.So far this thing has been hanging in there like a terrier with a bone, and yields a close, smooth quiet shave.As far as I'm concerned, that's where the rubber meets the road.Bottom line:This Yasun shaver is a decent product, and has earned the Jim Fisher Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval.When it finally dies(as all shavers inevitably do) I'll get another.

For the price, no shaver comes close to this one. I've bought and used the Remington F5-5800 and Wahl foil shaver. The Remington kept running into foil issues and I kept having to replace the foil which was costly and the Wahl didn't shave all too well. I've been using this for 4 months and have had no issues whatsoever. The shaver is just as strong and good since I got it.
