Description says 60ml - bottle shows 600ml. Which is correct?

I just ordered recently and didn't even catch that the description is wrong. Mine arrived last week and is definitely the 600ml. It's really a large bottle of oil. Has to be close to a quart.

Do I need to pierce the top of the bottle to open?

Yes. I pierced 2 holes on opposite sides with an awl (1 for pouring and one for air). Worked great. I was refilling my oil pan. Not sure how it’d work if you just needed a little oil.

Can this oil be used in any industrial sewing machine? I have an Adler. Thank you!

This is a high quality machine oil. Juki recommended it for my machine - TL 2200 QVP. I'm not the expert, but I wouldn't hesitate to use it on any of my machines that require oiling. Maybe contact your manufacturer to be sure?

Can this be used in a juki du-1181n?

I’m sure it can be used in any Juki sewing machine. Your owner manual should tell you the oil to use.

Genuine Juki Oil - Would Recommend

Oil did not leak when shipped, to open this you need to use a razor to cut open the top, I used this for my Juki DDL-555, it filled the oil pan directly between the high and low mark. I bought 2 bottles to have extra to top it off if needed and extra for oil pens to keep other moving parts lubricated. I did a lot of research online on what oil can be used with Juki's requiring this type of oil. You may be able to use different brand oils, but it seems this oil specifically is a VG 7.5 weight oil which is impossible to find it seems. Appears to be genuine Juki and works very well, I would purchase this again if needed.

Oil is great. Getting into the bottle another story.

Love the oil. Hate the bottle.I am sure in Japan this packaging makes complete sense. But for the rest of us….Grap a steak knife. Stab the plug (it goes in very easily so do NOT use a lot of force). Twist the knife until you have a large enough hole to squeeze the oil through. On the bright side, absolutely no mess.

Good value

Originally thought I was getting 60ml. Figured it was high quality, specialty oil so it was expensive. Glad to see it is 600ml, though my bottle is not to the 600ml line- more like 550. Very well sealed [so much so that it was a pain getting it open] so unlikely it was spilled. Will last a good long while, even with daily oilings as directed.
