'prescribed' by my doctor many, many years ago. i am satisfied with the product but dismayed at how expensive it has become in recent years; it is seldom available at my local grocery store so that is why I buy it online.

My doctor has had me on a modified diet for the last six months. I've finally been able to add fiber back in. YEAH! Previously I would use that other brand, M.M., but my doctor said no to that but said to try Citrucel Fiber instead.I actually like this way better. No mixing up and slurping down the orange drink anymore. I just take two Citrucel tablets with a glass of water and I'm good for the day. They do suggest that you take this in the morning, which I would agree. I tried taking them in the evening and woke up very bloated.Two a day is all I've needed and they work great. I'm very happy I made the switch.

No way I can do the high fiber doctor ordered diet without it. I’d have to be eating a shopping cart full of broccoli to get the same results.
