First, I take alpha lipoic acid for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, glutathione-enhancing, and memory-supporting benefits. And I love and trust the Pure Encapsulations brand to be clean and to do what it says it will do. The 600 mg dosage is adequate; you get 120 capsules for $105. This is a great value. The brand integrity, the dosage, and the price make me feel like I am getting my money's worth. The capsules are a little large, but you only have to take one. I am a satisfied customer and will order this product again.

this pure encapsulations brand ala works !! i do a ton of repetitive physical labor, on concrete surfaces. work causes pain. pe ala kills pain. just taking one capsule begins to have immediate joint & muscle pain reduction within 10 minutes after a long day of work. it might even promote better mental clarity as well, or just feels that way as neck & shoulder pain alleviates. taking one capsule before work prevents the majority of pain from occurring in the first place and allows more flexibility when moving. i'm breaking it down this way to illustrate the pe ala observable effect based on when you take it. i take these capsules infrequently, as they are expensive. so i use them more as a secret weapon against particularly hard work days. however, if there is a bigger picture health boost, then i may start taking these pe ala capsules once a day....

I have a nerve condition, and Lipolic Acid helps to regenerate nerves. Can't say it's working since nerves come back at a worm's pace, but I know Pure gives me the best chance.

I have only been taking this product for three days, but there is no other explanation for my blood glucose readings to go from normally 126-143 to 102-109.I am taking the recommended dose of 1 capsule per day.I am hoping as I continue to clean up my eating and continue with consuming this product I will get my blood glucose down into the recommended by physician 90s.

Used it to lower my fasting blood sugars from 99 to 83, helped my monthly cycle become normal after coming off the BCP (20 years of use), helps detoxification process lowered my elevated liver enzymes to normal. This stuff is powerful and very effective. Not sure why anyone who is Type II diabetic wouldn't start here before taking something like Metformin which inhibits B12 absorption. The list of nasty effects from B12 deficiency are very scary. But then again, your conventional doctor won't even offer this up as an option along with proper nutrition - because they aren't taught that in medical school or by the pharm reps that come to their office selling their drugs.
