MetraElectronics 95-3305 Double DIN Installation Multi Kit for 2006-up Select GM Vehicles, Black

I have a 2008 GMC Sierra Z71 with a factory double din. Wanted a few upgraded options so I changed it out for a Kenwood aftermarket doubled in and with this it fits and looks like factory.

Used this to install a BOSS AUDIO 870DBI in a 2008 Suzuki XL7 Premium (I left install tips in my review of the radio). The mounting screws that came with the BOSS 870DBI were not long enoug to go through the sides of this dash kit and still make it into their target holes, so I had to scrounge my own screws. Also, for my Suzuki I had to trim the upper outside corners (not inner corners where radio fits through) to more closely match the stock radio mount's corners - this is not in a visible area once the radio installation is complete though so a person can be a little sloppy. Overall this kit worked good, it was a bit snug when I put the dash back on, but it did fit (with those upper corners rounded off). I also dremeled a bit on the outside lower left corner area to make the radio\kit fit better in the XL7, but this may not have been necessary. I recommend having a dremel if you are going to use this kit on a 2008 Suzuki XL7.

Fits great in my 2008 silverado. The one I bought from autozone bulged my dash but this one doesn't

Its ok for price .had to cut so radio didn't set back a half inch inside.

I have used Scosche for years but this time their kit was junk so, I used this kit and it was great. Fit and finish were way above scosche The price has good, it felt more solid and it looks factory.
