The EltaMD UV sunscreen stick is a must-have! It goes on smoothly, leaves no white cast, and feels lightweight on the skin. I love how easy it is to carry in my bag for quick reapplication throughout the day — especially for my kids and when we’re on the go. The formula is gentle, non-greasy, and provides reliable sun protection. Great quality and worth the price for both convenience and effectiveness.

So far so good! Some things to note about this sunscreen stick:1) It has a bit of a funny smell, like raw shea butter. Not an unpleasant scent, just different from the fragrances of most skincare products.2) It’s a solid stick, obviously. The main inactive ingredient is sunflower seed wax which helps it hold its shape. If the stick is cold, then it will be difficult to apply smoothly and will pull on the skin. If you’re having trouble with application, try putting it in your pocket to warm up a bit before applying. You could also heat it *lightly* with a hairdryer. But only very very lightly, as all sunscreens should be kept out of excessive heat.3) Despite the matte finish, it has a slightly tacky feel to it that doesn’t really go away. Tapping on a bit of face powder helps a little, but it’s more work than it’s worth, to me.4) And the best for last: this sunscreen is actually sheer. Like most people, I get a white cast from every physical sunscreen I’ve ever tried. This one looks like I have nothing on my face. That being said, I’m a believer that if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. So I will update this review after putting the sunscreen to the test in the wild. I burn and break out easily, so pray for me my fellows 🙏

As someone with vitiligo sunscreen is the most important part of my day. I read a ton of reviews and articles about this sunscreen and decided to give it a shot. The price point is a little higher than I normally pay but I’m so glad I did it! This sunscreen is awesome, works better than anything I’ve ever used. Will be re-ordering and trying that other products

What I like most about the EltaMD UV Stick Sunscreen for Face and Body is the portability and ease of use of the sunscreen in a solid form. What I disliked was how the sunscreen left a sticky feeling on my skin. I'm very pale as I avoid the sun due to me having lupus so I don't tan much so I can't comment on leaving a white cast on my skin.The stick applicator makes applying the sunscreen easy and once applied works well to prevent sun exposure. I've used it on my face, neck and arms during a recent vacation and it worked well to protect me from sun exposure. I also loved how I could tuck the applicator in my purse as it fit nicely and didn't weigh a bunch.

This is an amazing sunscreen! I love the fact that I have not had any breakouts from using it. I have extremely sensitive skin and took a chance buying this product. After lots of research, and good reviews, I have no regrets. I am a AA woman 46 years of age. I’ve tried many sunscreens but this by far is the best yet! My only complaint is if you apply too much it will leave a cast. Other than that I would recommend, and I will repurchase. I ordered this in October, it’s now December, and I still have plenty left. I usually don’t post reviews on products but I felt compelled to do so because I had read some reviews that said this sunscreen leaves a white cast. It doesn’t for me. Upon application there’s a little cast (not even very white), but if you pat / rub it in, it disappears and it doesn’t even look like you’re wearing sunscreen. It’s not as easy to rub in as a traditional cream, so I do a pat / rubbing action. I’ve used EltaMD for years (UV Physical) and I’m happy I finally found another that I like even more. I was worried about the size but I’m on my second stick and I think it lasts longer than the larger tubes.

I should have known better, but took the risk buying this product from Amazon instead of directly from the manufacturer. I’ve used an entire stick of this in the past with no issues; historically this has been a fantastic spf for outdoor sweaty/water activities, it stays on and does a great job at blocking UV rays from the sun without leaving my skin greasy like with supergoop. I’ve loved this product from EltaMDA.However, I took a chance and ordered it from Amazon this time. Big mistake. This stick is not the same as the one I had before, and has left me with hives on my cheeks 3x now (it took me 3 uses to figure out this was the culprit).They do not show up until the next day, thankfully this time you can clearly see where I swiped the stick across my left cheek in particularly. I don’t know what this seller is doing to this product, but it is NOT the same. Something awful is in it.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT FROM AMAZON

To start: I am a huge proponent of sunscreen so I may be pickier than some (my skin is also on the drier side).I ordered this to keep in my purse/backpack so I could apply throughout the day with ease, and I will not be repurchasing this.Other reviews claimed it was easy to apply and you couldn't not feel it on your skin. I could not disagree more.Application is quite difficult for me. The stick is very stiff and dry. When I apply the stick to my face I can feel it pulling against my skin. It does not glide or slide at all. Once applied, it feels thick and I am aware I am wearing it.The protection itself does hold up! When I am wearing it I do feel protected from the rays and it seems to hold up to sweat well!I wish application was smoother, especially for the price point.
