It's a pity there is not a connection for earth as it would be easier locate it anywhereRater than trying to screw the body to a metal part on vehicle

It failed after a couple of starts. I wouldn't buy one again.
It looked poor quality and a rivet holding it together was badly rivetted. The starter solenoid failed after two starts. I sent back two other starter solenoids of a different make (Intermotor 68000 Starter Solenoid) as the seal was not fitted correctly. I decided to take this one apart to see what was wrong with it. It was very poor construction. The reason the seal wasn't badly fitted was there wasn't one fitted! I think the best thing to do would be to buy the Intermotor 68000 Starter Solenoid and put up with the faulty seal or take the rivets out and fit the seal correctly.

Exact replacement
Needed this to replace a solenoid on a lawnmower and it worked perfectly. Turns out the original one I had was working perfectly and the problem was a grounding fault but still, the product worked exactly as it should have.
