Gold N Hot Professional Conditioning Heat Cap

I have been looking for one of these for quite some time. It’s not the same brand that I had 20 years ago but it does work.

I often use the heating caps like this when I have finished washing my hair. I typically used a nourishing oil, put a shower cap on and then put on this heating cap. Heat opens up the hair follicles and enables the oil to penetrate and fortify the hair. My hair has not only grown but is has gotten thicker from incorporating this product into my hair care treatment process. If you are concerned with your hair care and health BUY THIS PRODUCT!!

I have 4A texture low porosity hair. I am in love with my natural hair, all the moreso after using this product. My hair is manageable, retaining more moisture and is thriving because of this conditioning cap. The heat allows my low porosity hair to absorb the products more deeply. The heat is evenly displaced...for the most part...definitely feels more concentrated at the crown. I sit with the cap on for about 15 minutes...takes maybe 20 seconds to heatup...The cord is very long...roughly 3ft. The highest setting is definitely hot...I use medium setting...You must use a plastic cap with this conditioning cap. I just love this product, I highly recommend it for all coarse textured chicks IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE!

So I had high expectations for this heating cap since I am natural. My main reason for buying the cap was to infuse oil and moisture into my hair and not worry about the big hooded dryer bit. I plugged in the cap, letting it run for about 5 minutes. Prepared my hair and put the cap on. It's not conducive if you have long or thick hair. I set my phone timer for 30 minutes. The cap heated up at the crown of my head but no where else. And the heat was barely noticeable. Thinking maybe I needed to give it more time, to heat up, I sat uncomfortably beneath the cap another 30 minutes. Don't waste your money. I have a hooded dryer which has served me well in the past, though it's big and cumbersome, the heat distribution is great.

I've used a heating cap most of my life and was trying to find a replacement. My mom used it on us as we grew up and i used hers until i moved out. Needless to say that was years of use. I can say they just don't make things like they used to. I chose this brand because they've been around for a long as I can remember. Anyway, I tried this cap and first thing, it's just too small and I don't have a big head or a whole lot of hair. The size is just not Adult friendly. Not sure who they had in mind when they did the sizing. With that said, I pulled it down on my head all the way, which was a feat. The heat doesn't distribute evenly. It doesn't get hot enough nor does it stay hot long enough. Gave it a 3 because it works but just not good enough. I don't see this quality lasting long either. I expected more from this brand.

I would’ve loved it if it came in different sizes. I had a bit difficulty getting it on and couldn’t really fit all of my hair into the cap, (for reference my hair is curly and touches my shoulders).I like the heat temp I used medium heat on my hair, felt great.Love it overall just wish it could be bigger and maybe a little more shaped for the head. I won’t return, but might gift it away to someone else.I will be looking for a better cap sadly.

Excellent for hot oil or conditioner hair. Gold N Hot products have never failed me for years.

The media could not be loaded. Giving this two stars because it does still get hot after sometime, but I know it can be better.The cap is really tight on my head, it doesn’t get hot enough, and the cord gets really hot at the tip. I trusted this product because I had it in the past, but lost it, but the replacement that I got is not the same exact product that I had first time. They must have changed it.
