I purchased (3) Vent Covers. Instead of using the screws and nuts they included In used shelf tapping screws. I had installed each vent cover in 10 minuets. The shelf tapping screws speed up the whole process. The vent covers work great and look like. I would order them again.

Easy install, works as it supposed to!

I was nervous about doing this on my own and after watching videos on how to install it, I took the challenge. The hardest part was getting the tools on the roof, but the whole job took about 15 minutes. It's amazing how much nicer it is now that it's Installed. I don't hear the wind howeling or the vent rattle and it's venting nicely!

Not a complaint at all - What a great product, easy to install and really solid build. Provides such a comfortable climate on those rainy days where you don't want the AC on, but you can't open the vents because of the rain. Not anymore, with the vents/fan open/on and windows open we now have a super comfortable temp when it rains out. Definitely worth the price and minimal install effort.

It was very easy to set up. I had to drill holes into the plastic of the fan to fasten the main braces. The set up and hole placement of the hood made it easy to aline and have fit like a pro. We love and have been through a rain storm to have very little water coming into our RV. This also allows us to run the fan and remove dead air when we are gone and not worry about rain at all. Win!!

Air flow is good, no noise, durable. Just installed but had these on the last rv and worked great! I do recommend.

I just installed 4 of these vent covers on our motorhome. It was just what I wanted.Easy to install and no drilling holes into the roof. Instead they mount into the frame for the roof vent (quite smart).They are awesome as we now can leave vents open at night without being concerned about rain.Good product 😎👍

These are a necessity, they have saved more vents from hail damage and keep airflow in bad weather. I read someone mention it not having a screen, and I felt the same until I put some extra screen I had left over from rescreening some windows and noticed it still has an opening underneath as it does not mount onto the actual roof. Otherwise, perfect and a decent price. These should come as standard.

Ordered three to cover existing vent covers that perpetually degraded from UV exposure, even though the trailer was tarped for 6 months over the winter…..easy installation, place the cover over the vent, approximating a centered position, this is the most time consuming part , mark the locations through the vent holes on the roof, place the angle brackets over the roof markings and this will locate the position to drill on the vent frame. The washers that go on the inside of the vent frame may be problematic if you have a plastic frame protruding up the interior sides of the vent…..I found the washers fit by placing them on first, sliding the washer between the plastic interior trim and vent wall, place the screw from the outside in through the drilled hole through the washer, then expansion washer, then secure with supplied nut.The positioning and drilling take most of the time, securing with nuts is easy. Apply anti-seize paste to the outside bolts securing the cover to the angle brackets and do not over tighten to avoid cracking the cover.

La instalación es complicada, a pesar del instructivo se requieren materiales especiales como por ejemplo una claraboya que sea de metal ya que va anclada a la misma y si es de plástico se puede romper.

This is my third maxi air vent I have purchased as we had the old flat vents on our trailer that had to be shut every time it rained. These vents allow your inside vents on your trailer to remain open for air flow and provide a water proof covering on the outside. We have found them easy to install and durable.

Simple process of removal of damaged part and replacement with new one. Don't fall thru your trailer roof. Put a couple 2x4’s across to kneel on while doing your replacement.
