Inline fuse was broken upon arrival. I didn't realize it at first, but the fuse is easily replaceable. I bought another fuse, put it in the holder and it worked great.

Comes with everything you need now I would not recommend using the bass adjustment that comes with it I went out to my truck the one day and it was still on but over all everything else is good

Review of the 8 gauge kit: The power wire is working fine for my Kicker Hideaway 8. The ground wire is only a few feet so I had to splice in some extra wire to make it work. I wound up buying a 40 amp fuse locally since the included fuse seemed to be a bit too much for this kit; I'm skeptical that this is truly an 8 gauge power wire.I was getting a high pitched whine while using the included rca cables. I relocated the sub and ran some higher quality rca cables and the whine went away. Admittedly, I'm not 100% sure that the Boss rca cables were the culprit but I'm fairly certain that they were the issue. Remote wire works fine. I didn't use the included speaker wire. Overall, the kit is okay but I wouldn't recommend using the 8 gauge kit for anything much more than 600 watts peak power.

I like everyone else that buys this sorta stuff was trying to be cheap cause I am only using a cheapo Walmart amp and a couple small 8" subs,so 8ga would be just fine imo...but this wire is a danger to anyone that uses it!! I was shocked at just how little wire is in it. It's honestly closer to typical speaker wire then anything that should be used for power.This wire says it's 8ga but in reality it's closer to 12ga as it has very little wire within the insulation. The outside diameter is 8ga,but not the copper wire itself that's around 12ga.If you use this with a smaller to mid range amp that pulls more then 20 amps and about 300watt (which is basically every amp out there) you have a high probability this wire will overheat,melt and cause a fire!Avoid at all costs,but if you must use this make sure that your situation calls for less then 300 True watts
