Pyramids (National Geographic Kids Readers, Level 1) Paperback – January 17, 2017

Wonderful introductory book for inquisitive children such as my 5 yr old grand daughter.She enjoyed this first book of the 3 series. I have photographs to also show her as I just returned from visiting Egypt so it definitely added to her interest in learning about ancient Egypt. Recommended.

My 4 year old son is so fascinated by ancient Egyptian history. He loves these books. He love learning about the pyramids and the mummies.

My grandson is 5. He and his mommy love this book. I’ve just purchased National Geo planets book for him. It too is a wonderful book.

My son loves these books and I think they are all fairly priced. We have bought a lot of them, but this one is one of my son's favorites. This book brought up a lot of good conversations and he asks me to read this one over and over almost every night.

An introduction to pyramids of the world, especially those found in Egypt, their structure and purpose.This may be short but it provides a pretty good intro to pyramids and Egyptian uses of the structures. Good for a nonfiction read for lower grades or Egypt studies in the lower grades.Notes on content: Details on mummification procedures are kept minimal.
