Really easy to install
This was super easy to fit, using the included AM4 bracket, pop on screw in done.In terms of cooling performance I used De8auers youtube channel as a reference guide as he recently convered a bunch of CPU blocks (Aug 2023), it does well when matched up against the alternatives. It's a solid product, simple to maintain as well.No issues with clearance on fittings.

Fits AM5. Looks great and keeps CPU cool
Looks great, chose this over the Black model so that it was more visible. Fits my AM5 motherboard and comfortably cools a Ryzen 5 7600X (360mm radiator). Uses standards G1/4 fittings and has a ARGB converter so you can sync ARGB with the motherboard so do not require the Corsair Commander Hub. I daisy chained this with a Corsair Hydro XD5 and saved on cost based on this

Keeps my 19 12900k cool!
I overclock my 19 12900k to 5.2 ghz on P cores, that would normally be impossible due to thermal limits. Using this CPU block, I keep my temps around 75 degrees! which is not only cool but is honestly amazing.I marry this CPU block with the XD7 Reservoir pump, which enables me to daisy chain the lighting so that I only use one input on my Commander Pro.I owned the previous iteration of the XC7 for my 9th gen I9 9900k, I was disappointed I couldn't re-use it and that this block was more expensive BUT looking at them side by side, I can see this is a larger and heavier cooler, despite pictures being identical, they just don't portray the increase in fin quantity and die size. The lighting is bright and complements the aesthetic of my build but not being 12, I only use static colours most of the time, which are bright and vibrant. It works well with ICue and I highly recommend it.

good looking block but quite restrictive
Great looking water block and built very well.Cools down my water cooling loop -that is to say absorbs a lot of heat but there are things to knowThe block is very restrictive so if you have multiple water cooled components within the same loop then this is not the best product to use. Also for INTEL 1700 configuration its a bit of a pain to install as you cannot attatch or "glue" the backing plate on without right away installing the main block itself..Pros:Very well builtDazzling array of RGB and underneath RGB so it lights up the motherboard too.Easy to installwell presentedCons:Very restrictive (not for multi block uses on a single loop)fiddly to install backing plate for intel configurations

Corsair Waterblocks: Why I’m Never Going Back to EK Again
Alright, buckle up because I went all in on Corsair’s waterblocks for my CPU, RAM, and pump, and let me tell you—I’m never going back to EK again. I’m talking about a triple threat here, and Corsair knocked it out of the park.First off, the price difference between Corsair and EK? Stupendous. I felt like I was getting away with a steal. But the real kicker? The pre-applied thermal pads that aren’t crap. No more scraping off factory gunk like a caveman with a butter knife; Corsair actually gives you thermal pads that make installation feel like a spa day for your PC. Life-saver? You bet! Now, I’ll admit the pump was a tad pricier than I’d have liked, but after a used one leaked like the Titanic in my rig, I wasn’t about to redo my hardline tubing. Corsair’s pump is rock solid—whisper-quiet, no drama, just cool, consistent flow like it’s training for a marathon. All in all, I purchased all three: CPU, RAM blocks, and pump, and I’m writing this single review for all of them because they’re that good. Quality is top-tier across the board, and I’m officially Corsair-converted.EK, who? With Corsair, I’m finally sleeping soundly, knowing my rig looks and performs like a million bucks without costing anywhere near that. Five stars to Corsair for water blocks that are surprisingly better, better-priced, and ready to turn your PC into an absolute liquid-cooled beast!

Large mounting bracket causes incompatibility
This block is quite large. The circular mounting bracket requires a lot of clearance. My Gigabyte X570 Master is not compatible due to a row of capacitors that are in the way of the mounting bracket.Wish this was documented or advertised somewhere. If they used a different mounting system other than this locking ring bracket it would have worked.Check the clearance around the socket if you're planning on buying this water block.

Missing pieces
Missing a screw slot on the backplate which made the motherboard vibrate like crazy causing connections to to disconnect. Too late to return now, I can only hope no permanent damage was done
