It wasn’t very loud. But it caused a lot of bubbles in my epoxy that it wasn’t worth it and I returned the mixer.

Q: Are the paddles silicone?

No they are a thick plastic material. I wouldn't let resin dry on it but it is easy to wipe off before cured

Q: Is the motor strong enough for the thicker resins?

What do you mean by thicker resin, like how much you make at one time or when it's started to set already? I use it with pretty large batches and it works great still.

Q: The paddle broke off in the mixer and is flush so I can't pull it out any suggestions?

I used a straw and glue. Glue the straw to the broken end, carefully, and then push the release and it should come out this way, if I explained it right. Kinda like a potato and broken light bulb idea.
