Fits tight, good 360 protection. Extra protection on corners for drops. Better than the standard folio case.Not sure why one reviewer had issues with volume buttons & cut on the case. 🫣 The case has to be properly mounted on tablet all the way around. It's a snug fit, which is good.Magnets hold lid closed. Extra elastic band ensures lid won't pop open if it's dropped & skids across the ground.Wipe down with damp washcloth (plain water) to remove shiny coating and case will not be slick in your hand.Executive looks & quality case.Recommend.

I spent too much time searching for a Samsung GalaxyTab A8 Case and this was towards the top of my list and I'm glad I bought this one only complaint as others have said the on//off and volume buttons are very stiff but they are usable (I'll probably cut them out but unlike others that have cut the buttons out, I'm going to use my Dremel and make it look smooth and clean. Other than the buttons I'm pleased with the construction seem durable and stylish...for the price you can't go wrong. I also appreciate the elastic band that works two fold it helps secure the case closed even though it has magnets for that and the elastic also can be used to hold flap completely open when using in conjunction with the strap while holding in portrait orientation

So far so good. Well made. Doesn't slip when using the grooves.agbet works well for sleep. Time will tell. Overall well made nice case.

I'm really impressed with this folio. I chose the black and tan version for its professional yet attractive appearance; I've had several people comment on how good it looks, and I agree! It feels good in the hand and holds nicely when propped up horizontally (on or off any of the divots). The synthetic leather is relatively smooth, but has more than enough friction to not be slippery, especially the interior surface. The tablet enclosure itself fits perfectly, and while other reviewers have stated they needed to cut out the power and volume buttons, I've had no issues at all. The closure magnets are light but enough to keep the cover closed.There are two minor issues that could be improved upon, and that purchasers should be aware of. First, the auto-sleep mechanism is a bit too sensitive and often kicks in when the cover is fully folded back. I get around this by sticking my index finger between the front and back covers while hold it, so not a big deal. The second, more minor issue is that the elastic stylus band is just a *little* bit too tight, and it takes some effort to get the stylus in if it doesn't feature a smooth tip.All in all though, this folio is completely worth the price and I'm very happy with this purchase.
